Honeywell Genesis 10703908 14/4 Mini-Split Cable Coil, 1070 Wire, 50' Length

I bought this for my own mini split but used it for a friend instead. Works well. Would buy again.

I have bought this exact wire multiple times because it has proven to be great general purpose AC/DC wire. In numerous circumstances I have stripped the outer cover and used the colored component wires for jumpers. For the price, I have not personally found this quality and quantity of general purpose wire. Just remember that wire does have voltage and current ratings, so be careful that you repurpose it responsibly.

This is a very good quality wire. A little more expensive than some others, but worth it.

The connections between the outdoor and indoor units are direct connections from the power input to the outdoor, and the terminals for the indoor connection. As NEC code requires the fuse to protect the wire, a 15 amp circuit requires a minimum wire size of 14AWG. If you connect a 20amp circuit, the minimum wire size needs to be 12AWG. I write this, as I got a mini split kit with connection wire that was 16AWG size. I purchased 2 rolls of this for the 2 mini splits I used it on.

Exactly what I needed and good quality. Bent around corners without any damage. Would buy again.

The insulation is rather stiff plastic-type which is good but stiffer than I would have preferred. The conductors look like pure copper, however, the wire strands are thicker and fewer than I would have preferred. Overall a good product that meets the advertised description.
