The Inspire Bible is absolutely stunning. The illustrations and wide margins make it perfect for Bible journaling, coloring, or taking personal notes during study or prayer time. The New Living Translation is easy to read and understand, which helps bring the Word to life in such a meaningful way. The pages are delicate but hold up well to colored pencils and highlighters, and the cover design is gorgeous truly feels like a keepsake. This Bible has helped me slow down, reflect, and grow deeper in my faith. I couldn’t recommend it more!

I’ve been looking for a catholic Bible, this is perfect! I was hesitant because of the translation in NLT but they were very clear and precise why they use it and what they changed! I was shocked it wasn’t as a big deal as I thought it was. I love my KJV, NKJV,ESV,CSB- etc (I know I have a lot of Bibles) but this was an amazing addition! The beautiful artwork and journaling make it super exciting to use! The clear visuals and easy to read material are put in everyday words using everyday vocabulary. They didn’t veer too far off from the original text- which I love. And any changes they made seem to be minor in comparison. I actually love reading this as a standalone or as a study guide when I’m stuck on something with my KJV. Coloring this has been so much fun! The beautiful pages are filled with hundred of coloring fun! The side of the Bible has beautiful flowers on the side; and the front is made with Rose gold material to give you a shiny classy finish. I’m highly impressed ! It would be cool to see as a KJV but I already have one so it worked out perfectly! And the pages are think to where I am able to use gel pens without bleeding through- I use jelly Sakura pens. And they are also thick enough for acrylic markers, color pencils and water colors! I’m able to use a wide range of artistic tools on this.

I was pleased to find a NLT version of the Catholic Bible, and my wife loves this. She loves to doodle and draw and color, and this Bible is the most accessible one I've seen. It looks great, too (edges are detailed beautifully), and the rose-gold cover is nice to look at. The words in NLT are so easy to follow, and the added coloring sections are just another way to immerse oneself in Scripture. Love this Bible.

Gorgeous. Prettier in person. I had trouble finding a woman’s Catholic bible that was also cute. This bible is a metallic rose gold with pretty colorful flowers on the sides. I’m looking forward to reading and coloring this.

Beautifully illustrated and it makes a great first communion gift or a new Bible to add to your collection

Firstly, i’m a collector of bibles and this is my first NLT translation: Pros: 1.It has the IMPRIMATUR “Seal of approval” meaning that a Bishop deemed the book free of doctrinal error and it aligns with the church teachings and morals. 2. The verbiage is easy to understand and quite fun to read. 3. The note margins and coloring pages really add a creative-forward presentation, even if you don’t color the pages they still look beautiful. 4. beautiful sprayed edges and whimsical iridescent pink cover, feels like smooth soft leather…. 5.affordable CONS: 1. letters are tiny, if you mind small letters, this might not be for you. 2. The translation, while easy to understand , looses some essence of poetry in some verses that we are used to in other bibles. 3.shes thick, kinda heavy,

I really pored over pages and descriptions of all the INSPIRE Bibles by Tyndale. Ultimately, being Catholic, I went with one of the few Catholic choices so that the extra books would be included. I love the floral and butterfly images on the page edges. It's really a beautiful, quality Bible I will always cherish. The main issues are: 1.) the paper is too thin for anything but colored pencil. Watercolors, gel pens, anything but colored pencil-- forget it. Some have mentioned coating pages with gesso; I know nothing about that but it sounds more labor-intensive than what I was looking for in a coloring/journaling Bible! 2.) in some of the other editions I looked at, it seemed there were more full-page pictures, and more images to color as opposed to text. In this edition, most of the coloring pages are embellished text. I would have liked more pictures along with (or sometimes, instead of) the text. It gets a little boring mostly coloring words and letters, and most of them are in the margins, with only a small handful that are larger. The other obvious issue is the translation. I take off no stars for that because I had the opportunity to check out the translation before buying, and while it's not my favorite, for the most part I actually like the contemporary style. But there are occasions when it doesn't work. For example, in Psalm 23, I'm accustomed to: "The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want." This translation says: "The Lord is my Shepherd; I have all I need." Those convey two very different feelings. For one thing, they are different tenses. "I have all I need" is present tense. It doesn't reassure me that I will always be provided for. "I shall not want" conveys more of a sense that, now and forevermore, the Lord will never leave me wanting. I will always be provided for, now AND in the future. That's just one example, but it's important. So check out your favorite passages before buying to see how you like the translation. I give it 5 stars for quality, beauty, and a great price. But it could be more artist-friendly, with sturdier paper and more variety of pictures.

Bought as Christmas gift for someone who loves pink. It's such a pretty book. Very well made.

This Bible is perfect if you want to start with bible journaling. Every chapter has a number of coloring pages and the pages without pre-drawn designs have wide margins to draw, doodle or write your own bible artwork. Because this is a NLT-translation, even non-native speakers can easily read it, but since this translation is not a word-for-word translation, but rather a thought-for-thought translation, I would not recommend it for in-depth Bible study. If there is no Catholic journaling or coloring Bible available in your own language (like in my case), this Bible is an excellent alternative.

Beautiful unique Bible. Comes with a protective sleeve. The cover is rose gold with golden lettering, gold ornaments, and a single pink strap. The page edges are illustrated in vibrant color and really stand out. The Bible is written in a larger, easy to read font. Inside the Bible there are many beautiful illustrations for coloring, as well as wide lined margins spaces for journaling, and a satin bookmark. Each book has an illustrated title ready for coloring and lots of artwork. It's NLT version and easy to read.
