ASICS Gel-Kayano 25 NYC Men's Running Shoe

Asics Gel-Kayano looks great and is the only brand/product that I comfortably can say fit my feet perfectly every time and and let me run without any of my feet start aching. Technically Asics Gel-Kayano is a great running shoe, fits the feet well, gives great support to your feet when running and the "gel" technology protects the knees! Most other shoes from other vendors gives me problems one way or another when running. The only drawback with Asics Gel-Kayano in general (though not with this pair yet) - which to me is an annoying and unnecessary issue but has been consistent over the last five-six years years and my approximately 15th pairs of Asics - is that each Asics Gel-Kayano pair does not look good for long. After relative short period of time (frequently only a month in of using them) a hole will start appearing in the upper part of the shoe covering your toes (hole in the mesh toe cap). I wish Asics would recognize and correct this flaw because the hole in the toe cap look bad in an otherwise almost new shoe (and people who don't have Asics frequently ask what has happened) but it is the same issue every time and has happened to all my previous pairs over the years but it has never happened to any other brand I have used. I have pointed out this issue (flaw) directly to Asics but the refer to warranty and I did send one pair once that I got replaced and they only lasted one month again before it was a new hole in one of shoes again. I had shoes replaced twice but who has time to continuously send the shoes in for warranty replacement only to get a new pair with the same issue? However, even with the holes the shoes can be used (and the only one that I feel comfortable with) but this issue is annoying and the shoes look bad almost immediately (see photo of my previous pair - not the latest). In short the Asics Gel-Kayano is a great running shoe that fits your feet well, providing excellent stability and support for your feet and they are a savior for your knees but don't expect them to look good or last for long.

Best shoes for underpronation. Really helped with the way I walk and run. Very comfortable. Never wear anything but nimbus shoes for walks or runs. Basically anytime my feet are going some distance. Excellent shoe can't say enough about them. True to size and fit perfect.

My favorite running shoe and it last me exactly one year. I put a ton of miles on my shoes so that is saying a lot. The new 27 nimbus are really cushioned and I have to decide if I like that.

First of all These are very comfortable shoes secondly, I am in no form or fashion a runner of any type. I bought these to wear at the gym to walk on the treadmill amongst other things you do at a gym. Please read the reviews before you decide to purchase, im glad I did. They definitely run small... I found mine are a full size bigger and still could use a hair more room. But that's just me. They are a sharp looking shoe, nice color also. (Lake drive/Hazard green) was my choice. They get noticed when I'm out & about. My biggest complaint if you can call it that, is the shoe laces. After cinching all the laces as tight as can be... But still maintaining my comfort. I'm left with about an inch or a touch more to tie them. As we speak I'm am currently shopping for replacement laces that keep the coolness of my new shoes and still gives me enough left to tie a knot.

i had the nimbus 17, two pairs of the 22, the gel 360, and now the 24. while the 360's were the most expensive out of them, they were also the least comfortable out of all of them. the 17s felt like walking on clouds but the heel support area did not feel like a good fit, i had to step on one side of them before putting them on so they can feel a bit more tolerable. the 22's i liked, but the mesh portion tears quite easily. the biggest problem with buying online shoes is not knowing if they will fit to where you are comfortable with them. i am extremely surprise the 24s fit just right, right out of the box. i can see where some reviewers said it did not feel wide enough for them but for me it was just right since the 22s felt a little wider. back to the 24s. well the inserts felt like they were undulated instead of just flat which is a good thing. they are cushion soft, snug, and very light as well. also i like the tongue portion of the 24's, they seem to add a snugger fit without having to tight the laces so tight that it hurts your feet. these 24s just fit right all around for me. i'm impressed asics. edit: 4/14/2023 the feel, fit, comfort are so nice that i bought another pair and thinking of getting a third. i do not even feel like i need to take them off even after having them on for 9 plus hours. seems asics make a new version and once that version is gone (by shoe size) then its gone and i dont want to take a chance on having to wait for another version that is equally good or better. i have 2 of these and 1 pair of gel 360s which are in good condition but are not comfortable like the 24s. most likely will get another pair that i can rotate them to give them longevity. edit: 21 april 23. so i bought 3 of these 24 series so far but i noticed something about the 3rd shoe. it is the same 24 nimbus series but in the black/gun metal color but there is something different about it. the other ones are in a safety yellow/black and light steel/white. the yellow/black and light steel/white fit identically and just perfect (for my feet). however the black/gun metal colored shoe feels like it is missing an extra layer of cushioning. i have extremely sensitive feet so i can tell the difference. the shoe still fits nice and comfy, but not as cushiony as the yellow/black and light steel/white colored shoes. i would rate the black/gun metal a 4.5 stars while i rate the yellow/black and light steel/white a perfect 5 stars. it just seems odd to me that these are supposed to be identical shoes (aside from color) but there is a difference in cushion depending on the color. i will probably buy a 4th pair because this 24 gel nimbus series make my feet feel so good. i dont want to risk them running out of my size while they work on their next series and it may not fit like these. so i could rotate through them evenly and they will last for years. Bought my 4th pair the cherry tomato color. It fits and feels identical to the bright green and steel white/blue. So I'm very happy with my purchases. Walking on clouds.
