Columbia Men's Crestwood Waterproof Hiking Shoe

A good fit that is true to size. Shoes are well made & very comfortable immediately upon initially putting them on. The waterproofing seems quite good. Very good tread that grabs everything but watch them on cast iron drain covers - slip right off of them. I'd buy them again without hesitation & as such I recommend them.

Nice shoes , got at a good price . Comfortable to walk in , been dry so can't tell how good the waterproof system is yet . They look smart and can be worn pretty much anywhere. I have got shoes from Columbia before and these live up to the others . Happy so far

Bought these for my Husband as we walk a lot, I also have Columbia walking shoes and they are so comfortable, I thought they would be beneficial for him too, although he has a problem with his big toe joint he says they are comfortable, lightweight, good fit, plenty of grip, not been out in wet weather yet so dont know about waterproof (but mine are) really well made.

My previous pair of Columbia walking shoes have lasted well. They were comfortable and the wear has been very good. So i expect this pair of walking boots to be just as good.

Comfortable. This version does not indicate Waterproof and the only difference with the waterproof version is that the upper flat (below the laces) is not attached to the shoe. (I have the waterproof version so compared them closely). Other than that, there seems no other differences. I suggest half a size up if you’re wearing thick socks.

Great shoes. Comfortable, nice looking and excellent supporr. I'm a 6.5 so I ordered a 7. Works a dream.

Arrived quickly, price very good. Not a trainer to wear to the gym as they are more of a sturdy outdoor walking shoe but very good for that purpose. Fitted well, straight of the box for my mens size 8 (UK). I have bought Columbia before and have not been disappointed. These were bought for a walking holiday on coastal paths and after two weeks constant use they still felt and looked good as new. Happy to recommend, assuming that you need them for outdoor use.

They were waterproof as long as the DWR coating on the surface of the shoe lasted i.e about three weeks. Then both shoes let in water from rain falling on TOP of the shoe. They were not immersed in water. I wasn't walking through wet grass. I just spent 10 minutes walking in the rain. Not even through puddles. In fact I would very much doubt that these shoes have any sort of waterproof membrane in the fabric with which they are constructed. I should know better really. These are the third pair I have had, and I buy them because they are comfortable, supportive, have an excellent grip, and fit my feet. Just not waterproof in any way. Just like all the other ones.
