Fits absolutely awesome on my mid 2014 13" MBP. Clips on very well (took around 2 mins with minimal trial and error) and doesn't interfere with hinge system opening and closing. I got this for protection in my woodwork workshop and itll definitely do the job. The knobs below offer decent grip but not 100% unslidable. It doesn't offer 100% body protection to the lower back but if it did extend then it would interfere with upper lid hinging. It is installed correctly when the longer clip tabs correspond with one another to the front. It does give the 13" a bit of weight but still manageable and worth it for the protection and cost.

Great fit in all ways and quick shipping

This product arrived on time (even a few hours earlier than I expected it) and was well packaged. I have bought covers before and of the 3 I have purchased this one seems to be the most colourful (the other two had clear see through parts that snapped onto the bottom and over time the clear plastic looked faded and yellowed and dirty, so I am kind of glad to see this one has a coloraturas that matched the top). The coloraturas is a nice pearly rose gold that matches my phone. It has a slight texture so it is a lot easier to hold onto than the slippery surface of my laptop. The thing I like the most so far, however, is the keyboard cover. The past two keyboard covers I purchased did not cover the entire keyboard and they had a habit of slipping around while I was typing. This one covers the entire keyboard including the ones on top and does not move at all. It also has a pleasant touch. I chose this coloraturas partly because the keyboard cover was completely clear so I could see the lighted keyboard at night, but the great texture and complete coverage is a very nice surprise! I am very careful with my computer, so if this falls apart in a couple of months I will update this, but so far it is perfect. Also the price was great!

Edit: the case got dirty after some wear and tear and I tried to take it off and it cracked. It still went back on my laptop just fine, but it has a crack and the grime didn’t clean off at all. Easy to install, very difficult to remove without breaking. So far so good. This just arrived today. It was well packaged. Both pieces for the case were bagged separately. The keyboard cover is what takes it down from 5 stars to 4. The keyboard cover is just slightly larger (barely) than the actual depression in the macbook. This might make it get caught more easily. Also, one end was folded a bit, so it kind of pooches up on the left at the edge. It does make typing a bit slower, but I'll wait to see if I get used to it. When I say slower, I mean significantly slower. Pros: The color is great, it almost looks richer in person than online Case was easy to install (There were also directions, but I didn't need them) Apple logo shines through nicely! Matte finish feels great! Keyboard cover matches the case cover well. Cons: Keyboard cover looks/feels a little cheap. keyboard cover was wrinkled on one end keyboard cover is slightly larger than depression for keyboard, so it doesn't rest in the nook *perfectly* Overall: I would recommend this. If anything breaks quickly, I will update my review.

I opened my package and everything was wet. There was no tear or hole in the Amazon packaging, so I don't know how the content inside was wet. The keyboard cover did not match up with the keys, and the top cover was too small. The bottom cover fit well. It seems like I received covers for different sizes. Going to return and keep searching for a case.

Purchased May 2023 Really, the only issue so far with this purchase of the Green MacBook Cover was that it was shipped flimsily. It could have easily been broken if we didn’t have it sent directly to an Amazon Pickup Point. It wasn’t put in a box nor in bubble wrap and that’s on Amazon. Hopefully, the vendor will see this and contact Amazon because I can’t seem to find how to do that on my device. Anyway… The item is sturdy. Not too stiff and not too flimsy. It fit perfect on our “old” MacBook. The Keyboard Overlay was awesome too. Wish we would have done that years ago to keep out dust. Even though we cleaned it regularly, it still would get dusty. Highly recommend trying this out. Hopefully, this item will last. If not, I’ll try to remember to post an update.
