Review: Good quality and very comfortable - I love these socks. I bought them to go hike Mt Whitney and they did an excellent job for the hike. They fit perfectly and tightly around your feet and have a thick bottom that is soft at the same time which make the socks very comfortable and perfect for any hike. The color is also cool looking and it goes well with my boots and pretty much any shorts I wear. I would 100% recommend these socks if you're looking for some quality product.

A: If you go to Darn Tough's web site you will find their size chart information.  Look under customer service and you will find FAQs.  One of the questions, "What size sock do you recommend?" Has the size chart you are looking for.

**Q: can these socks be put in the dryer?**
A: Yes they shrink - a lot. I have a size 12 foot size and purchased a L size sock. After the first wash and dry the sock shrunk down to size 9, I had to hand over about $100 in socks to my little niece because they wouldn’t t fit on my foot. I have since gone to an XL without issue.

A: Your question has the same 2 socks listed, so hard to answer. I'd go up to a heavier sock for cold weather though. I wear this sock in AZ year round, but use the Darn Tough Vermont Men's Merino Wool Boot Cushion Hiking Socks for cold weather and snow.
