bought it for my 6 yr old grandson, probably better for an older child 10-12 . He did learn to work it but only with guidance from his older brother. Did work great, and he loved it

I thought these were the larger version of the same title! My fault for not fully reading and understanding the description. For the money I spent on these, I would've purchased something different had I performed proper due diligence. Still fun to fly indoors and have the kitties chase them around the house. DO NOT FLY OUTDOORS as these tiny, light weight units are not stable enough to fly outdoors, let alone indoors with a slight breeze from your fan. They do come programmed with aerobatic maneuvers at the push of a button that will thrill the kids. Hey, once you learn to safely fly these under control, flying prosumer drones will be a cinch!

This is so freaking cool. Love it.... Battery life could be longer, but I understand because of the size of the drone.

Very disappointed with this mini drone. Flight time on a full charge is only 5 minutes Max. After three flights two of the propellers will Not turn. This unit is just fragile Junk, Save your money.

The good: The pre-programmed stunts that this can do are pretty neat! I've not seen that before. It was pretty fun to do the stunts at the tap of a button. Charging time wasn't terribly long, though I didn't actually time it. The bad: No interchangeable battery. Once the battery is drained you have to plug in the drone itself to charge. Fun, delayed. Drift. This thing is constantly drifting one way or another. It does have 'trim' adjustments to correct for this but I didn't find them to actually correct the issue. SLOW horizontal flight. It does have the fast mode, but the regular mode is unbearably slow. So slow that I couldn't even fly it 30 feet back to myself. It was moving forward at like 1 foot per minute. Then the battery died and it fell in my neighbors yard. For the current $40 I'd spend my money elsewhere.
