Insisting the resident teenager live in a room without devices, so I GenX’ed her with this alarm clock. She actually loves it (once we did a tutorial on how to tell time!). The size, finish, color is perfect. We got the white, which is like a shimmery pearl. The alarm itself is not obnoxious but can also be heard through 2 closed doors. We have been on time for school ever since this arrived. It takes just 1 battery & it would fit nicely in a carry-on for traveling.
