Just got it, 10/10
After searching for days through fake adds falsely advertising 80x hand held monos (only to learn later that isn't even feasible) and having them delivered only to find out they're barely 6x, I was relieved to find some actual brands that delivered on what they say. It is a small device that actually zooms 21X. I read the other reviews and saw a few 1 stars claiming it didn't work properly or failed completely. Some claim it was too dark and to be honest, that is to be expected in a 21x21 monocular that should have an exit pupil diameter of about 1 mm. I was ready for it to be dark, however it simply exceeded all my expectations, especially for the price. It isn't even dark, I can still zoom to 21x even when tested in a poorly lit room. A brighter image that my old 10x25. This thing is also just as small (a bit shorter even) despite having the (supposedly) bulkier prism design that gives a better image quality (explains why it isn't a dark picture). It is built well and just works. I find it easy to adjust both the zoom and focus (read a review of someone complaining, like, it was either broken or that person hires someone to wipe their butt coz it is too much effort). Naturally you need to be careful when focusing on objects far away, but it is certainly achievable. The only let down in this package was perhaps the belt sheath. It isn't bad, but I prefer black, with molle and made of thicker nylon/cordura. I would rather them have spent that bit of money throwing in another lens cap or securing the one they had on there properly, but I knew this before I got it. Luckily for me i had ordered a sheath for my leatherman wave and it arrived on the same day. It fits perfectly in there too. They even managed to fit a tripod attachment onto this thing. I have seen scopes 10 times the price of this size leave that part out. It certainly isn't unwelcome given how shaky things can become at this level of zoom and allows you to use it on mini tripos for phone attachments as well. Sure, if you have a tripod you probably have a larger scope to use, but it is an option, it is nice to have options.

Image quality better than expected
This lil guy is quite the value! Image quality, what we most care about here, is surprisingly better than I had anticipated. Im sure we’ve all been there; don’t have the funds or you’re not wanting to take your Steiners out on this particular trip, so you opt for a cheap placeholder… then you regret it! Lol I’ve been eyeing various $150+ monoculars for about a year now, basically for a more compact and convient item. I love my Steiners but sometimes I don’t need all that or what all that and I end up getting frustrated and annoyed by the lack of speedy utility. So naturally I go into research mode and I have to learn all there is about this and that before I will pull the trigger. When I do so, it’s for life pretty much. I prefer to always buy quality which will serve me well into my remaining years—I’m 40 btw, but you would think I was 80 from that sentence haha. One day I was complaining To my flatmate about how I really need to pick which damn monocular I really want because recently I kept running into these instances where it would have been ideal. He then chimes in with “How do you know it would be ideal? You are assuming a lot about a tool you’ve never used; a tool which would come to you at a disadvantage simply due to its nature of being one half of the tool it is meant to replace. And you being so damn picky, you should get a cheap trial to see if you even like closing an eyeball all day.” Superb logic my dear Watson, superb logic indeed! Well I stumbled on this item, found one used/Like New for around $7 and thought “what the hell, I don’t want to research anything right now!” and bought it based on its reviews. It’s been great! Super lightweight, compact, easy to hold/carry. It’s very tough, resilient too! I was biking the other week and I forgot I had it in my sweater pocket and it fell out onto the road while I was booking it. Picked it up and barely a small scratch on the outer housing! No cracks, nothing out of alignment, no lens scratches, nothing except for the minor scratch on the outer housing. When mine first arrived the movements were rather stiff so I couldn’t adjust with one hand, but after a month or so of using it 2-3 times a week, I can now easily hold it with one had and adjust for both zooming and focus. Great buy! You won’t be disappointed.

Great product to see from distance
I have to say, after having this for quite a while now, I am glad it helped me to see anything from a distance. The good thing is I don't have to rely on my phone's camera, because that's what I normally do. The lens are adjustable, I can adjust the focus and I can even wear it on the go thanks to the neck strap it came with. So overall, it is a very good product and perfect for the partially sighted people.
