My boys actually find these very very tasty and I'm so glad to have a treat I can give them that's safe for their kidneys, both are early iris stage 2, dx at ages 4.5 & 5 like 4 years ago and regularly see both their Primary care vet and their internal med specialist every 6 months. We adopted the brothers of destruction, Undertaker & Kane. Taker doesn't quite get how to eat it without a plate, he ends up covered in it if I give it straight from the tube. Kane LOVES it though and practically slurps it down like a straw. He likes to try and chew the foil when it's done. Yes a little pricey but nothing crazy unaffordable and it's worth it to spoil my kittos with tasty treats without fear or guilt about kidneys.

My 17 year old cat has kidney disease so she is on a special diet that doesn't allow her previous treats. This product is not high in phophorous and is delicious as far as she is concerned. Can also be used as a topping on wet food.

My cat was diagnosed with Stage 3 CKD a little over a year ago. Since then she's been on a prescription diet, and I wanted to find treats to still give her and add in some supplements. I use AminaVast as well sprinkled in her food twice a day and honestly it seems to really be helping. She loves these treats, all 3 flavors are great. So thankful for Weruva and making these for cats who have certain health issues! <3

Cat with kidney disease absolutely loves these. He started rejecting churu and delectable treats, but goes crazy for these, and I feel better about the lower phosphorus levels. They’re pricey though, and seem to separate easily (squish the ends before opening to mix the oils back into the rest of the treat) so taking off one star.

My cat has kidney disease so we need to be careful about what we feed her. I was so happy when Weruva came out with these treats since my cat is picky. She absolutely loves these treats as does her sister (who doesn't have any special dietary requirements but insists on eating some). I hope that eventually they will release them in a larger pack since we go through the five pretty quickly. The price is a bit higher than I would like, but I understand that since it's a special diet, stuff costs more, and since my cat will eat these without a fuss, it's worth it.
