Works great for joining wire.

I keep this in my tacklebox in a little container. Never know when I might go musky fishing or offshore fishing for the fish that fight really good.! so easy to use and it works very well. It comes with all different types of sizes depending on what type of line you’re using you have the metal sleeve to go over it and then you just use the plier style tool to crimp it. I have caught some big fish with this set up as my leader.!

So I get this and open the box only to discover the little plastic bog holding the assorted crimp sleeves had come open and some had fallen into the outer cardboard box because they didn't tape the plastic box closed. I don't mind sorting them out just frustrating that I have to do that and the fact that a few sleeves may have fallen out of the cardboard box. But beyond that I like how the crimpers feel and look. The only thing I see wrong isn't the sellers fault. Hopefully the manufacturer starts using a little piece of tape on the plastic box of sleeves.

Wire is hair fine...The crimps are too small to hold decent sized wire. I would never trust them to actually catch a big fish much less a shark.
