My wife was prescribed steam inhalation with "Sinarest" (eucalyptus oil) capsules for a lung infection. This equipment was bought to replace an old, manual, "Vicks VapoRub" double cone inhaler which had come to the end of its life and was awkward to use. This one is non-contact. The stream is generated in a few seconds and you just have to be careful to hold your face about 30 cm away to prevent scalding. The instruction manual was unnecessarily long on safety precautions and was quite clear that "no additives" should be added to the water. So, how was the "Sinarest" to be used? It took a little while to discover that the instructions on how to use additives were tucked away in a separate card. Apparently, what we thought were thermocole packing were actually pre-formed cotton discs which were to be placed in a special funnel provided on to which drops of Sinarest had to be squeezed. It took a few trials-and-errors, thereafter to figure out how to place the funnel on the mouth of the device. So, it would have been more helpful had these instructions been included in the main manual with a picture of the placement. Incidentally, the cotton discs can continue to be used until they fall apart. This is something that could also have found mention in the manual. There are enough spare cotton discs provided. You could even make your own with compacted cotton discs with a hole in the middle for steam to get through. Other than these small niggles, a piece of well-made equipment with no leakage and good value for money. Haven't used it long enough to check-out robustness of the electric heating element. Good safety against over-heating and running dry.

My doctor friend recommended me this steamer, im using this from last 2-3 days steam is very smooth and light.. feel refreshing and it also help in absorption of my face care products. Also aroma diffuser tray is best as while being at Work from home, i put essential oil in the cotton pad and the whole room fragrances.. Point to keep in mind are- 1. Use only RO water 2. ⁠turn off after steam get over.can’t keep the same on when water is over. Steam session will last for 7 mins approx.
