DEWALT 20V MAX XR® Brushless Cordless 1/2 in. Hammer Drill (Tool Only) (DCD806B)

I work with surveillance camera installations and regularly run cables through concrete walls. After researching reliable cordless options, I picked up the DEWALT 20V MAX XR hammer drill and I’m extremely happy with my choice. This tool has made drilling into concrete significantly easier and faster. The power is impressive — it chews through concrete without struggling, even with larger bits. The hammer mode works very effectively, and the battery life is solid enough to get through a full day’s work on a single charge (I usually run two batteries). It feels well-balanced, comfortable to hold for extended use, and the build quality is exactly what you expect from DeWalt — tough and reliable. I’ve been using it consistently for several weeks now and it has quickly become one of the most used tools in my inventory. If you work with concrete, masonry, or do any kind of installation work (cameras, electrical, etc.), this DEWALT 20V MAX XR is a fantastic investment. Highly recommended!

It is a powerful drill and has drill and hammer selections. The torque adjustment quick and easy. The light is a nice feature you can turn on or just when on the trigger or off and face it different angles. It is alittle heavier than regular drill but just a bit. It feels good in the hand and steady driving heavy or light screws. I think one of DeWalt's best

Picked up the DEWALT 20V MAX XR Brushless 1/2" Hammer Drill (tool only) a couple months ago and it’s been rock solid.This thing feels durable right out of the box — solid build, no cheap plastics flexing around. I’ve put it through some pretty rough use on different jobs and it just keeps going without any issues. The brushless motor is strong and runs smooth, with plenty of power for drilling into wood, metal, or concrete when I switch to hammer mode.Chuck holds bits tight, clutch settings are useful, and the overall quality is top-notch. Definitely one of the better drills I’ve owned in terms of how well it’s made and how it holds up over time.If you’re looking for something reliable that won’t quit on you, this DEWALT delivers. Highly recommend.

I have had my older Dewalt drill for well over a decade. It still works but has developed a small grinding noise when I tighten the chuck. Therefore I ordered a new one in case my existing one failed, (which would likely happen at the worst time). I just began using the new drill. I am very pleased with the increased speed, power, quietness, brighter work light, anti kickback, smaller size and weight. I have an entire suite of Dewalt tools which I have used extensively for more than 15 years. Now, based on the improvements found on this drill, I am wondering if I should start replacing all my DeWalt power tools over 12 years old! I was concerned about counterfeit tools flooding the market. However, based on performance, packaging, appearance, the use of star drive screws in the assembly, and correct pricing, I know have a real DeWalt. I am very pleased.

Solid! I’ve used this already a handful of times and it’s been great! Love my dewalt drivers. Say what you want about DeWalt but I’ve had the same version of this model from 4 yrs ago and it’s holding strong, I don’t se why this one won’t do the same! Use your tools as they’re meant to be used

Excellent drill as it is sturdy and easy to handle. Set up and speed variations are handy, has very good power. I'm new to using DeWalt tools, but so far love them.

Bought for brother, so can only write that he seems pleased with this tool. He is a maint. man at our local school district so he uses his tools a great deal. We did observe this same tool in our local hardware store for about $40.00 more, so again real pleased. Last week helped replace a fence post and about 20 pickets that were damaged in a recent storm. Used this tool, nothing but good comments.

Absolutely great product. And it's not a fake. As a contractor a great price.
