I am a rowing referee and require a megaphone that can be heard by rowing crews up to 300 to 400 meters away. In addition, a megaphone may get wet, dropped, etc. This megaphone has held up well with no breakage. I have used this megaphone for several regattas and find it to be one of the best, particularily for the price. In the rain, I do cover the microphone with a plastic bag and a rubber band. A great feature is the battery pack is well designed and the batteries stay in contact with the electronics (a major problem with other manufacturer's products.)

I am a rowing coach. Almost from day one this megaphone was disappointing. It worked sporadically and the mouthpiece had to be tapped several times for contact to be made every time I wanted to talk through it. And forget about using it in damp weather.The megaphone finally gave up the ghost, two months shy of its second anniversary, when the trigger broke.All in all, it's cheap junk, but I can't afford the $400 Blue Ocean megaphone.

The ThunderPower 250 is plenty loud. I use it out of doors and keep the volume setting at 3-4 and everyone can hear me just fine. I find the neck strap helpful as it can get a bit heavy and the trigger can occasionally be touchy otherwise its perfect.

I do not recommend this item. It did not work, it did not come with a packing slip, and it looked used and I bought it new. This is not a cheap item. I feel due to the reasons stated the company is not credible.

This thing is LOUD, it's a little bit heavier than I expected but it is really nice and works great

EXCELLENT! I bought this for a company event where there were bouncy houses, water slides, RC Car races and a live band playing on top of other noisy activities. This megaphone got the job done! I was able to communicate to everyone at once without going horse or running around the grounds. I LOVE this megaphone!

It stills works unlike several others i've purchased and the price is very reasonable

Worst piece of crap I have ever purchased. I would NEVER buy this megaphone again. It sounds terrible and doesn't work properly out of the box!!!
