The only drywall anchors I will buy, the others just leave me frustrated.
These look a lot like other anchors you may have used, but they are way better. After using these, I will not buy anything else. This is a superior product and if you need to anchor something into drywall it is what you should buy. I have installed hundreds of drywall anchors over the years so I have become somewhat of an expert on them. These always do the job with minimal hassle. Whenever possible, I pre-drill a hole to insert these into. It's not necessary, but it does make the installation easier. I use a drill bit slightly smaller than the diameter of the "drill" part of the anchor before the threads so they go in nice and snug. With a pilot hole drilled, I install the anchors by hand with a screwdriver, not using a drill. For the best strength, it is important to get them screwed into the drywall just the right amount. While it is possible to do this with a drill (I have done lots that way too), doing it by hand ensures the best results. I usually end up getting the face of the anchor approximately flush with the surface of the drywall. After you have put a few of them in you get a good feel for how much torque is required. They can be installed with just a hand screwdriver if you don't have a drill, but it will take a bit of work and a few minutes. Or you can use a drill to install them without drilling a pilot hole first, they will drill themselves into the wall. Just be careful not to drive them into the wall too far. Just a hair too much and the drywall strips out, and you now have a large useless hole in your wall. Anytime I have run out of these and been forced to use whatever I can pick up locally I almost always end up frustrated. Some of them are brittle and either snap in two while you are installing them, or the screw bites into the anchor too well and the whole anchor spins inside the hole in the drywall. Both ways other anchors can fail usually lead to a too-large hole in the wall and a mess to clean up, so you now have to move you anchor over a few inches or use a different style anchor like a toggle bolt. Whenever I have a bad experience with one of those other anchors it makes me want to buy massive quantities of these just so I never have to go through that annoyance again. These hold a surprising amount of weight. I've mounted lots of things to walls with them over the years (and a few things to ceilings) and I've never been disappointed. Just use a proportionate number of anchors to how large/heavy your object is. They are strong, but use some common sense - don't expect to use 2 of these to hold your 60" plasma TV to the wall.

I really like them.
They work great. Go in tight and straight and #10 screws tightens down nicely. Some of the best anchors you will find. I used them to install industrial pipe clothes rake and when done you could hang from it.

Good price, good product
I use these anchors all the time. They easily screw into the wall and hold a lot of weight. They hold very tight to the wall.

Really Work!
I'll admit it - I was more than a little skeptical when I bought these guys. "Self-Drilling?" "Yeah right," I told myself. But, really, they do exactly what they say on the package. You don't even need to pre-drill a hole to get these little guys started. You just put them up wherever you want them, put a little (okay a LOT) of pressure on them with the right screwdriver and just screw 'em in. MAJOR NOTE though - be sure to use a stud finder to make sure you're clear of any framing studs behind the wall you're installing these into because they WILL bend and you will have bored a 1-inch hole into your perfectly good wall for nothing. Which brings up another point - please do not believe the info for this product when it says you "will not damage wall." Let's be honest here - you're boring a HOLE into your wall and, yeah, you can remove the anchors with a screwdriver but then you've still got a HOLE in your wall. The main thing that bothers me is that these anchors are made of a VERY soft plastic which, while they do not seem to affect how sturdily they hold the shelf I installed using these, they did make it slightly more complicated to install. The screwdriver kept stripping the soft plastic of these anchors, so I had to keep switching out my screwdriver for larger and larger sizes as I went along. By the end of installation, these anchors had a big, ragged hole where the screwdriver "slots" used to be. I know it seems like I've got a lot of things to complain about with these anchors, but, at the end of the day, they got the job done and are SUPER sturdy once you've got them in the wall. And, even with all the extra little complications, they only took about 10-15 minutes to install (including putting up the shelf itself). If I ever have need of more wall anchors, I will definitely be buying these guys again.

Initially Skeptical - Pleasantly Surprised
I was apprehensive about using these fasteners, as I didn't have much success using similar types in the past. These fasteners worked great!!! The "snap" sound is a nice. indicator that it has expanded. I found that using a #3 phillips bit vs a #2 helped prevent stripping of the head. I also set my "torque limiter" on my drill to prevent over-torquing the fastener and causing it to "spin-out" in the drywall. Set the limiter at a low setting i.e. 6 and steadily increase until you don't torque out until the fastener head is flush.

Excellent product
I can't imagine there is anyone that hasn't tried these anchors but the cheap imitations are often inferior with the top twisting off or the top part rounding off if too much pressure is applied. Ive never had an issue with these anchors whether holding up a towel rail or supporting a computer monitor.

Gotta have these around home! Super snugged and tight!
Superb quality and value. These actually pop out on the back of the wall so they're super snugged and tight. Great to secure bookshelves with! I replaced all the loose ones at home and problem solved!

Lots of strength.
Used to hang a bunch of sports memorabilia frames... Fairly large and heavy. No issues whatsoever from this product. Holds well. Easy to use. Would buy again.

Easiest plaster board plug I have ever had the pleasure of using
Really impressed with this product. I’ve had mixed experiences in the past with rawl and other plasterboard plugs. There is no going back to other plugs for me…
