Excellent exactly as described

I was reluctant to purchase due to the price but am not sorry. This scale is awesome! Every day, even if I gain, it encourages me by explaining the reason for gain. Often a weight gain is due to fat loss and muscle gain. It comes with a chart to keep track of daily changes. It is so detailed. It measures body weight, water content, bone mass, metabolic age, calories necessary to maintain your current weight. I love the way it breaks down the muscle and fat content. It measures separate percentages for left arm, right arm, left leg, right leg, and torso. It also tells how much fat you have around your middle. This scale is worth every penny I paid. The only thing I'd change is the color. I really wasn't in the market for a scale except that my white one did not match my bedroom. In looking for an ivory one I came upon this awesome scale and what color is it? White.

I purchased this item on the recommendation found in Dr. Davis' book, "Superbody." I am familiar with the technology and have used a commercial grade InBody system before. Buyers should be aware that although the device may well do everything it proports to, in order to see the results you have to pick it up off the floor and place it on a desk or table in order to read it and to push one or more of the 16 buttons on the device. Pretty much a non-starter for 77 year old me. Compounding the situation, Amazon will not accept it on return. A disappointing first for me. In fairness to Tanita, the workmanship and packaging seem very good. Younger folks may be fine with it. Just be prepared to pick it up after using.

Despite taking readings at the same time of day the accuracy is iffy. Even taking readings just a few minutes apart can have wildly different results. I did not have this issue with my 2 previous Tanita models. Just for clarification I keep the scale on the same flat surface. It is not moved, etc. Disappointing.

It is not a professional body measurement scale, but the results are always very consistent and near of the professional results. I do endorse this product. Just miss integration with Mac.

Fue una bascula que tardo algo en llegar a México pero al final la tengo a mi disposición. Es una bascula bastante completa para el análisis de la composición corporal además de solo el peso, la función de memoria es limitada a 4 usuarios pero tiene la posibilidad de "invitados" lo cual se pueden utilizar nutriólogos o estudiantes. Las mediciones que tiene son peso, % de grasa (segmental), kg de musculo (segmental), edad metabólica, kcal requeridas, % de agua, grasa visceral y kg de hueso lo cual la hace bastante completa. No tiene conexión a terceros por lo que llevar el registro tendrá que ser manualmente (o ocupar la memoria de usuario de la bascula) La recomiendo

Fácil de programar y permite leer el % de grasa, músculo y huesos total del cuerpo y por secciones incluida la grasa visceral
