Review: めちゃくちゃいいです。あの華々しいデビュー作をリリースした後、恋人と別れ、体についてとやかく言われ、色んなことに傷つきそれを乗り越えた彼女だからこそ作れるアルバムなんだなとわかる。一曲目のGetting Olderから最後のMale Fantasyまで、無駄のない、成長した「ビリーアイリッシュ」の楽曲がずらりと並べられ、一気に聞き通すことができる。本当にすごい。 てか、楽曲のクオリティ高すぎる。今までにシングルとして配信された5曲全部好きだし（特にLost CauseとNDAはベースとスネアが最高）、Oxytocinはフィニアスのプロデュースのセンスが余すところなく詰め込まれている最高にエロい曲だし、GOLDWINGはビリーの天使のような歌声とイモージェンヒープみたいな最高のダウナーなエレクトロビートが光ってるし、タイトル曲のHappier Than Everは元恋人に中指突き立てた最高のロック楽曲だし、その直後にくるMale Fantasyはアコギとビリーの声のバランスとサビのメロディーが最高。あとはEverybody Diesのあの絶望感......暗闇でヘッドフォンつけて聴くと一気に病むのでおすすめです。 あとは、このストリーミングの時代に一部の楽曲の曲間をなくして、アルバムという単位を大切にしていて好感度爆上げ。 個人的にはデビュー作超えた、ビリーらしいアルバムです。何回もリピートしてます。ありがとう、ビリーとフィニアス。
