Heavy leather.
This was a birthday gift for my 17-year old son --he loves it. Now, whatever my son wears he makes look good, but this long trench coat is particularly dashing on him. Fits like a glove. Well stitched. Buttons are mounted securely. The black leather you might think is a bit too dramatic, but the coat is more classic looking than goth. The look works.
