It's because THEY took the easy/lazy path and just sprayed it around the rooms of their home where they SAW the fleas--they didn't do any prep work or maintenance work. If all a person does is spray this on an infested area, some of the fleas will die but then there are the flea eggs that hatch inside of a week and fleas will jump on your pants/shoes from outside or in areas you didn't spray well and you end up carrying the free-loading fleas with you into the rooms you already sprayed where they jump off you and re-infect/re-infest the area you sprayed). And, the eggs that hatch will lay more eggs that will hatch, that will then hatch and lay MORE eggs, and, so on, in a rotating cycle. Seriously--don't waste your money on all of the over-priced big-name products.
