After about a decade with my previous wallet I went down a research rabbit hole to try and find a new wallet. The criteria being 1) Small 2) Holds 8 - 10 cards 3) Holds bills without having to fold them in half. This wallet fit the bill(s) and does it all in style. The biggest worry I had was the magnet that holds this closed and if it would demagnetize any cards, but that has not happened when using this for the past few weeks. The magnet closure itself is really solid and fun to open and close. The design of the wallet is fantastic and it looks great. Carbon fiber plus red leather on the inside is a fun combo that makes me want to just stare at it. And the packaging for this was super cool. It feels like a whole experience to open this up and use it. It oozes luxury without having that insane luxury price. It is not cheap, definitely not, but it is not designer wallet prices, it is a little more reasonably priced. This wallet feels like it will last a long time too assuming you can stay in the 12ish card and 15ish bills limit. I definitely plan to keep it for as long as I can.

I am a sucker for minimalist wallets and have about 10 of them. This is a bullseye. Typically if the quality and materials are great, the design is boring. This one has an innovative, functional, minimal design and the quality of materials and production screams premium. Glad that I tried this one and it is a keeper.

I love the product. I got the speed wallet mini in Turquoise color. Very compact, fits up to 12 cards and cash. Love the innovative concept. I would give the product 5 stars. However, my experience with Amazon is not great! Frenchie co. Wallets give a unique unboxing experience. As you open the box, the wallet stands up. However, the one that I received, the paper ribbon around the box was torn. That’s why I opened the box. As I opened it, the wallet inside was lying flat out side of its designated space. The whole box, along with the torn paper ribbon, was put inside a zip loc bag and then packaged by Amazon. Someone at the Amazon warehouse must have tried to have a peak at the wallet and damaged the packaging. I ordered another one in green, which I was planning to keep and gift this one to a friend. It’s too close to father’s day to return this one to get a replacement in time. So, I will keep this one and gift the other one (I hope that box will be untampered). As an Amazon Prime member, I do not expect this kind of unprofessionalism from Amazon employees. It reflects negatively on the company!! I want to repeat that I love the wallet mini.

Found out about this wallet from random wallet browsing via Amazon and the algorithm eventually showing me this one. The wallet size intrigued me the most since I love smaller wallets that tend to do more than just hold cards. Seeing how the cash can be slid in and rolled up was a cool feature of this wallet, but I also think that's its main downfall. While it is easy to take cash OUT, it's a bit cumbersome to put any cash in since you have to unroll this whole wallet to slide them in, and the wallet length when unraveled feels pretty long. That can be particularly frustrating when on the move. While this roll-up feature is cool, nothing usually beats the classic bi-fold when it comes to storing cash easily. Besides the cash situation, getting the cards in and out aren't the most seamless either. If this wallet is empty and it's rolled up too tightly, it's hard to get cards INTO the slots since the wallet is more taut, and the same goes for getting cards OUT. Additionally, if there are no cards in the slots, it might take a few additional seconds trying to figure out where the cards exactly go with the number of layers and folds this wallet has when rolled up. As a result, I had to unravel the whole wallet just to see where the cards went exactly AND for the wallet to be less taut. I do understand that I'd probably get used to it eventually and figure out quicker ways to use this, but that's also the problem... there shouldn't be a learning curve for something like a wallet. On the other hand, the leather is amazing, the color is amazing, the softness of the leather is nice to the touch, and when rolled up, this wallet does look sleek and nice. The leather has a nice shine to it under certain lighting. The thickness isn't horrible since, when filled, it is what you'd expect from a typical bifold but way shorter in height. This wallet is the same height as a credit card. I ended up returning this wallet since it didn't fit my needs, and when I had seven cards (three in one slot and four in the other), it didn't feel nice to pull the cards in and out and cumbersome overall. When a wallet tries to do TOO much, that's always an issue, and with this one—while a great iteration of a typical wallet—it just misses the mark for me.

Nice leather but.... It is a shame only half of the cards are RFID protected, lot of money for half a protected cards

I have been using the original frenchie wallet for a number of years. still functional but I have scratched up the leather quite a bit and ready to try the mini. I am familiar with the product so it is everything as expected. if you are deciding between the mini and the original, note that the mini cannot fit any cards larger than a credit card size. with digital payments and digital cards being more common now, the mini is perfect for just carrying some cash and cards in a very small footprint.

Nachdem ich drei andere zuvor ausprobiert hatte, bin ich nun mit dieser Mini-Geldbörse Mega zufrieden. Dadurch, dass sie keinen starren Rahmen hat, ist sie relativ flach. Wobei eben „relativ“, da die 11 enthaltenen Karten natürlich entsprechend dick sind. Das System zum Karten herausziehen ist für mich sympathischer im Alltag, als das Geschiebe mit seitlichen Schiebern oder durch eine Öffnung. An einem der beiden Laschen ziehen und man hat eins der beiden separaten Kartensets draußen und kommt gut an alle Karten ran. Ein Set sind bei mir Bankkarten, das andere Set ist Ausweis, Führerschein, KV & Co. Auch die Möglichkeit sehr viele Geldscheine sehr praktisch greifbar zu haben ist mir wichtig. Zahle zwar häufig mit Handy/Watch, möchte aber Bargeld (gerade für Urlaub/Markt/Trinkgeld etc.) immer ausreichend dabei haben. Der Magnetverschluss ist übrigens sehr cool, wenn man ihn mit einem Schwung nach dem Zahlen zuklappen lässt.

Once bought, lifetime usage

Wallets were always something special to me, ever since my grandfather let me pick one of his. Tri-folds were always the most clean in my opinion, amd I have had them all, from money clip, cardholder with clip, bi-fold, paper maché wallet (which has it‘s charm). The Speed Wallet Mini is simply well thought out and therefore has an extremely small footprint, especially for what it is. If you want a smart wallet but carry bills, this is it: smart access to cards, great solution for cash. The price is relatively highly. FOR WHAT IT IS.My ne go to wallte
