妻へのプレゼントで購入。美味しいアイスクリームを作ってくれました。 甘味料を市販のものより減らしてヘルシーなアイスを作ってくれたり、抹茶の粉末を混ぜたものを作ってくれたりしました。 食物アレルギーがあって市販のアイスを食べられない子供にお母さんが材料を工夫して作ってあげるとかできると思うのできっと喜ばれると思います。使いやすさもシンプルで特に問題ないと聞いてますが、中の容器を冷凍庫で冷やしておかないと使えないらしいので、それがまた結構な場所を取るようです。

この製品ではパドル(アイスクリームをかき混ぜるためのへら)ではなくフリーザーボール(アイスクリームの容器)が回転します。 パドルはふた(アイスクリームメーカーの一番上にある透明な部品)に引っかかって動きません。モーターでフリーザーボールを回転させるのです。今まで使っていた日本製のアイスクリームメーカーとは逆です。最初は驚きました。 パドルの形が立体的です。アイスクリームに空気をたくさん入れて固くなりすぎないようにするための工夫なのでしょうか? 電源のプラグが左右対称ではありません。 アイスクリームがやや固まったあとが問題だと思うのです。フリーザーボールの側面と底面は冷たいのですが アイスクリームが少し固まるとアイスクリームはフリーザーボールではなくパドル(プラスティック)に こびりつくようになって冷えにくくなってしまいます。

・届くまで 発送が遅れました。到着予定日時が過ぎてホームページ上に遅延の表示が。カスタマーサービス連絡したりと手間も増え、予定から3日遅れの受け取りとなりました。いらないかなって気分になったて受け取り拒否しようと思ったけど買うことにしました。カスタマーセンターの対応は良かったです。カスタマーセンターの問い合わせはチャットで。繋がりも良くて簡潔明瞭、分かりやすく便利でした。 ・開けてみて 包装の箱は四隅全部穴が空いていました。本体は写真の通り細かいキズがありました。底も汚れがあり開封され事があるかといった感じ。 ・使用感 一回作りましたがちゃんと動きました。ボールは大きい、思い。たっぷり作れます。羽がうまく入っていなかったりのか、かたまりが悪く時間を延長しました。音は気になりません。タイマー無しにしましたが不便ほありません。アイスを取り出したら、洗って直ぐにボールを冷凍庫に入れ次の準備。 ・総合 商品と機能、カスタマーセンターも良かった。アマゾンの遅延の連絡が早くにほしかった。指定日時をすぎて遅延と言われてもそれくらい分かる。それに対しての連絡もなく改善して欲しいです。後、購入先の商品の扱い方なのか傷や汚れたが多く信頼にかけた。

容器を冷凍庫に入れる手間がありますが それ以外はとても優秀だとおもいました

初めて使った時全く冷え固まらなかったので、２日目説明書を見ながら再挑戦していたら、偶然調理器具メーカーの人が来店。この機械を見て一言「固まらないですよね、それ」業界では有名であったのでした。しかし購入当時、星４つだったのは、関係者の嘘投稿だったんだと、大変勉強させてもらった。アイスクリームを作る機械がこんなに安かったら、アイスクリームメーカーみんな潰れるわな。

日本語の取説がほしい

日本のアイスクリームメーカーを使用していたのですが、作ることが出来る量が少ないのと、冷却機能が弱い為、完成してもシェイク状なので冷凍庫で再度固める必要があり、あまり作る気になれませんでした。 その点こちらのアイスクリームメーカーは冷却機能が凄く良く、通常20分かかるところをソルベですと13分、アイスクリームですと15分もあれば食べられる位にまで固まります。出来たては本当に美味しいです。 全体の大きさはパン焼き機位の大きさで中のボウルは炊飯器の高さのある釜位でそこまで嵩張るサイズではなくて安心しました。動作音も日中であれば許容範囲内だと思います。アイスクリームの種を通常であれば3時間は冷蔵庫で入れて冷やさないといけないのですが、このアイスクリームメーカーは冷却機能が抜群なのでそこまで冷やす必要も無いです。 ただ冷凍庫の場所をとることと、並行輸入品のため、壊れた時の保障が出来ないとのことでした。(私の購入したお店はそうでしたが他の店舗では数年の保障有りの所もあるようです) 説明書は英語ですが、ボタン操作はアイスクリーム、ジェラート、ソルベの該当するものを押してからスタートするだけなので非常に簡単です。(スタートさせてからアイスクリームの種を入れます。YouTube動画にも有)美味しいアイスクリームが毎日食べられるようになったのでとても満足しています。 小さな子どもが居る場合は冷凍庫にボウルを保管する際、 中を触らないようあらかじめ大きめのビニール袋で覆っておきますと比較的安全だと思います。(一晩おくと保冷液が固まるので逆さまにしておくと良いです) それから柄の長い木ベラと二重にした軍手がありますと取り出し作業が楽になるのでオススメです。 ただプラスチックの蓋の部分に二カ所傷がついていました。配送中に付いたものなのかは分かりませんが星をひとつ減らせていただきました。 因みに私が購入したときは18800円(送料込み)でした。ご参考までに。 このアイスクリームメーカーを購入してからはもう市販のアイスクリームを買おうという気持ちにもなりませんし、こどもが売り場をスルーするようになりました。こどもは正直ですね（笑）

アイスを作る分には申し分ないけども器に移す時が非常にやりずらいとおもいます

Easy, delicious homemade ice cream! We got the Cuisinart ICE-60W “for our kids” for Christmas and LOVE it. We just made our second batch of ice cream and it’s amazing. Just lookup recipes online and you’ll see that basic ice cream doesn’t require too many ingredients so if you’re looking to avoid fillers, artificial flavors and colors, high fructose corn syrup, etc, then this is for you. It’s relatively small - it will easily fit in a cabinet - and it’s easy to clean cause there are only a few parts. Having a small rubber spatula helps. And, it’s so much more affordable that some of the other makers out there. A word of caution... We opened the box on Christmas and of course wanted to use it right away, but it requires prep. We skipped steps and used the bowl before it was fully frozen, and our freezer wasn’t even set to the ideal temp (0°F). The first batch wouldn’t freeze and eventually it ended up icy, albeit the flavor was good. However, after turning the freezer temp down and allowing the bowl to freeze overnight we tried again today and it came out creamy and smooth. I immediately noticed the mixture thickening up and rising in volume; it almost overflowed the mixing bowl. The machine doesn’t do the freezing. The bowl has a liquid inside that MUST fully freeze before use and this is what freezes the ice cream during mixing. Using an ice cream mix that you’ve allowed to chill in the refrigerator first also really helps. All of this was in the instructions but, as mentioned, we skipped steps to make our first batch. I’m really excited to make more ice cream and try different flavors. The vanilla mix tasted great. Our second batch was made with a raspberry purée which I strained to remove the seeds and is so delicious. I definitely recommend this little machine and am thinking of buying it for other family members.

It may be too early to write a review of this machine since I have only made one batch of ice cream but... 1. The ice cream was delicious. I had control over all the ingredients that went into the ice cream. The texture was amazing. I really prefer eating the ice cream right out of the machine instead of hardening it. It tastes amazing. 2. The machine worked well. I would prefer to have a machine that had a built-in freezing unit instead of having to put the bowl in the freezer but the cost of such machines are significantly higher. there have been comments about the noise it makes. It is on the loud side but it is not excessive. I do not know about its durability yet but it does the job and makes a fantastic product.

November 26, 2022 Update I still have and use this ice cream maker on a regular basis and it works as well as it did on the first day. I bought the 4-year Square Trade Appliance Protection Plan, but never had to use it. I would not buy the protection plan again as the ice cream maker as held up over the years without any problems. I would buy the ice cream maker again and recommend it to anyone. Update 03.31.2018. After I called Cuisinart, it occurred to me what caused the problem. The problem was that I placed the ice cream maker on a counter top that had a couple of dish towels that overlapped, which made the ice cream maker uneven (not on a level surface). The next two batches of ice cream that I made, I placed the ice cream maker on a level surface and did not have any problem with the lid. So in this case, the problem was caused by me not putting it on a level surface. I am very happy with the ice cream maker and am glad that I figured out the cause and solution. Also, the representative an the Cuisinart Service Center was very friendly and helpful. He offered to send me a new lid; as it turned out I did not need it. I highly recommend this ice cream maker. It works very well and easy to use and clean. Update: 03.04.2018. Today I went to make another batch of ice cream and now the lid will not lock down. I don't know what is wrong with it. I tried for 15 minutes and the lid will just not lock on so I can't make ice cream. This is a mystery because all the previous times I've used I have not had a problem. I will call Cuisinart Service Center tomorrow and see if they can help. I will update this review after I have talked to them. I have made four batches of ice cream since I got this ice cream maker in January 2018. It works great. I have not had any problems that other people have had with the unit. Some people stated that they had problems with the lid, but mine fits fine and I haven't had any problems with it. It makes ice cream in about 20 minutes. It is also easy to clean the components. Be sure to freeze the container for 24 hours before making any ice cream. Hope you enjoy as much as I do.
