This is a compact speaker that can be mounted to the drum kit. It has enough volume for practicing so others can hear. Perfect for replacing my headphones when I want others to hear my playing.

There is no cord to connect the drumset to the speaker. There was no instructions included in the box. The metal support didn't fit into the bottom of speaker. Upset with purchase. Took an "L" with this one. For the price it was not worth it. Have to buy a cord so don't know the amp quality or sound quality. Buy at own discretion.

Sound is very good.. but no connection cable was included. Make sure you buy your own cable connection for youe drum set and amp.

This little unit dies a great job for budding drummers. It delivers a clear sound.

There is no cord that connects this speaker to my Aodsk electric drum set . How do you connect the Aodsk electric drum set to this speaker ? What seperate cord needs to be purchased for this to work?!? And why doesn’t it come with it? Making this speaker pointless without the correct cords ! It only comes with a power cord to plug it in but not to connect it to the Aodsk drums!!!! Help!

I keep a 40W guitar amp by my side to play through daily. The output of this drum amp feels closer to 25W. I know instrument gain has a lot to do with it, but I ran my P-Bass clone through it and can’t get close to the output I get from the 40W amp. That’s not a deal breaker for me because my main use is to run my Alesis SR-16 drum machine through it while practicing and recording in a home studio. If I want to boost the drum signal I can stick a preamp after it, but for the volume I play at, it’s fine. Max volume said, I like the clean tone of the amp and the way it projects when placed on a hardwood floor. It loses some punch on carpet but that’s to be expected. The three band EQ is unexpected and especially helpful when running a bass or keyboard through the amp. I don’t think my old Alesis drum amp had more than a single tone control. I appreciate the center notches and quality of the knobs that make them easy to hold and turn. About that design: The clear plastic face plate is interesting, although there’s not much to see other than the underside of the main PC board. There’s blue gaming-style LED lighting that slowly cycles on and off. It’s not quite as annoying as the rapidly-flashing tap tempo knobs that turn up on entirely too many amps and effects units these days, but it’s close. But putting the power supply jack on the front plate just looks and feels wrong, especially when they were making a statement with the clear plastic and gaming-style cycling blue light. The carrying strap handle on the side is a good classic touch, and very comfortable. But the lack of protective rubber or metal feet on the opposite side of the amp just invites accumulating damage.

This thing is great! It's only 35W so it's not gonna shake the house off the foundation, but for practice in an apartment or dorm, this is perfect. The sound is clear, the led backlight is super cool, all the controls worked, and it comes with everything you need. The Bluetooth sync was super fast and easy. The cable did come with the ends unscrewed, but as you can see the cables are well built and should last a long time. It's pretty light too, if you're using it on the go, but again it's not overly loud. I like it, it's a nice addition to my electric drum kit. Now I don't have to use headphones anymore!
