Bought this for my wife as it looked amazing and the price was much cheaper than from Singer. It arrived on 14/10/19 but straight away there was a problem. It had an american power cable and no UK plug. Spoke to Amazon several times on 15/10/19 who assured me that it just needed a US to UK converter plug. Ordered that on 15/10/19 and it arrived today and it does not work. Phoned Singer UK who stated they have had to deal with lots of disappointed customers who have purchased through Amazon. We are now having the hassle of having to arrange to return it to Amazon because they do not arrange the collection and sending it back to the USA can cost from £55 to £107. Very disappointed with Amazon

Good machine

Just got my singer sewing mechanic 9960 today the packing was not great but I accept that was the only way to send it there was a a big half hole in cardboard on side of the box.not you could see in the the box.Sewing mechanic is working well and wife is happy with it. Would I recommend to people yes. Over all I am happy and my wife is too. Very happy over all.

Purchased as a treat for myself as i have used my other machine for 30 years. I am so glad i made the purchase this sewing machine does so much more.

I have reserved my singer quantum 9960 today, only took 1 week to get here but when we opened it there was a American plug on it and it's a 110 v, which was not stated in any of the descriptions, if you are selling to the uk I think they should at least put it in there so I'm not happy. i have read other customers who have purchased and plugged it straight into uk mains and it blow all the bords, so be aware befor you buy the sewing machine it HAS NOT got a 3 pin uk plug on it and IT IS A 110V .

Excellent machine, easy to use, professional results. Would certainly recommend. The delivery was extremely fast. Within two days of ordering I was sat sewing.

Absolutely livid! Received this product & it was well packaged, but on switching on the machine, it made a strange noise & then just went dead. Switched it off & on again again several times, but it is completely dead. I would be very wary of ordering this machine from the USA now, as the warranty isn't valid and I suspect they are sending out faulty products that even if they start, I'm not convinced they will last the test of time. I've only given it one star to submit the review.

Amazon have mis sold this product. It is only for use in the US! Totally useless in the UK. Nowhere in the description does it say that it is not suitable for the uk! Why have a product for sale in the uk if you can’t use it! Currently waiting for it to be collected and for my refund!!! Feeling very angry and disappointed!!!

I couldn’t be happier with the Quantum stylist 9960. The stitch quality is amazing! I love the double needle function. It works so smoothly! Also, I love the fact that you can move the needle up to 25 positions which makes edge stitching a breeze. I don’t care what others say, this machine is extremely quiet and runs so smooth. I have made many projects already with it and just keep bragging about all the features. Mostly, I did not have a cutter before while you can’t use it with the double needle function, when you sew in regular mode, you won’t have to deal with long threads dangling from your fabric or seam. It cuts real close to the seam. Love the needle threader too. While a lot of people find it difficult to use…..it’s not that bad….just watch a few videos and once you get it you will never go back to manually threading your machine. I used to hate trying to thread the needle and sometimes it would de-motivate me from continuing to sew. It is quite the value and comes with so many extras for the price. It’s worth it. It’s definitely comparable to those real high priced machine, but at a fraction of the cost. Also, if the computerized machine scares you…..this one is very user friendly right off the bat.

Singer. lo cual siempre es garantia, con una entrega rapidisima por parte del vendedor externo de Amazon ; Maquinas de Coser Low Cost (MCLC) comprada en Domingo el martes estaba ya en casa traida desde Alemania..mayor diligencia imposible, gracias, la maquina viene completisima con mesa de extension, pedal y tapa cofre dura, facilmente transportable con un asa que incorpora la propia maquina y engancha la tapa ,mi mujer esta como una niña con zapatos nuevos, y yo feliz comi una perdiz, encantados con la compra.
