This is because the Restorer is absorbed by the nail. It does not dry with a glossy finish like the nail repair. Therefore, you can use the Keratin Protector to get that glossy finish while also adding extra Keratin. The balsam treatments are strictly for additional hydration. The Nail Balsam adds additional moisture to the nails for extra flexibility. The cuticle balsam hydrates all three layers of the cuticles so nails do not grow in with ridges.
