It may have just been the jar I got, but it smelled off and I couldn't get over it so I threw it out.

This is amazing for getting makeup off. I use this as my initial cleanse to get all the makeup and daily grime off my face, followed by a traditional cleanser and the rest of my skincare routine. It’s gentle and effective for hard to remove mascara. It is a “greasy” texture to break down makeup and can make your eyes blurry for a few minutes, but it does not sting or irritate. Cleanses off easily. Very happy with this product.

I've purchased this product outside of Amazon from Sephora prior to now, and was pretty excited to see it on here. This unique and incredible make up removal regime is a must and is worth its weight in gold, for real. It takes off anything and everything, it gentle and doesn't make the eyes sting if you get any in them. Goes on dry and has a soft removal that doesn't require water, but I use a damp cloth or cotton pad to wipe it away. No greasy residue, basically zero scent, and my super sensitive skin has never had any reaction to this product in the 5 years I have been using it. From day 1 I've raved about this stuff and I will continue to do so. Love it, always will!

I used to use the green clean version which I would still prefer just because I liked the scent of that one. But this one is unscented and works the exact same. It gets off my kiss me heroin lash waterproof mascara so that’s all I care about. It has a nice balmy texture and I find a little goes a long way. I use it as my first cleanser to get my makeup off and then go in with a different cleanser. Overall I love it. Wish it was cheaper but my last one did last me a few months so I guess it’s not too bad of a price. I will probably buy again if I don’t find anything cheaper. This was my second time buying it.

I love this cleansing balm I've been using it for years. It just melts my makeup away! I usually use a water based cleaner after to make sure it's all washed off.
