Are your powders and spices tested for heavy metals?

Any farm product from China should be tested for heavy metals, e.g., lead, cadmium, chromium, arsenic, mercury, etc. The reason: in their quest for economic clout, China's rulers for decades disregarded environmental safety measures. So, smelters for metal ores and coal-fired power plants did not have smoke-stack scrubbers, to remove heavy metals. Winds distribute smoke-stack effluents. The soil on farms hundreds of miles distance from a pollution source can be contaminated. A farmer - in any country - would not likely know this. Remember that when the Soviet nuclear power plant at Chernobyl melted-down, the radiation spread far and wide.

What is the country it’s grown in?

Per label it is distributed by Frontier Natural Products Co-op in Norway, Iowa (NOT the country Norway). The seller should answer as to where it is actually grown. Some answers state it is Peru, but I see no evidence of that.

How many 1/4 tsp would this bottle yield?

Not sure. It contains 42.5 grams 1.5 oz. Wild Guess - about 8 tablespoons x 3 equal 24 teaspoons x 4 equals 96 1/4 teaspoons. Good luck !
