This unit replaced an expensive brand and it is just fine! Pressure is nice n strong giving really good foaming on expresso. Frothing is good as well. Easy instructions n easy maintenance. Good price! We willl keep it n enjoy our morning coffee as well as an afternoon delight.

I love this little set. After a trip to Italy I just couldn't do Keurig anymore. I had cappuccino every day when I was there and needed an Espresso Machine, but didn't want a big machine on my little counter. This two piece grinder, espresso set up works really well for me. The grinder doesn't get the grinds in the center of the portafilter, but for the price and convenience, I'm still giving it 5 stars. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat! ❤️

This probably isn't the end all of espresso machines, but if you're getting started, want to learn, don't mind tinkering a bit to get things right, it's great! The grinder is weird, and I recommend if you're measuring beans by weight do that first, then set your grind/activate it, THEN put your beans in and ground them ALL. You can't restart it once it times out, and you can damage it by adjusting finer which is what you need to do to restart it (twist it all the way counter clockwise let it lift, then rotate it again to your small grind size. I think that's how some people are breaking it. The espresso machine is ok. Thankfully I don't think it makes it to 20 BAR ever, but who knows the gauge isn't labeled with anything useful. It drops an ok shot but leaves the puck wet, and more crema than you should have. You have to really tamp the puck to get close to the right extraction. The wand is good, not sure it's useful for water it takes a long time to add if you're making an Americano. Steam is strong enough for such a small machine, clear it first you'll get water, and let it build before starting. Expect it to take a lot longer but you can get good results with nice microfoam . Putting cups on top to heat them is a we l waste of time. It doesn't get hot up there. I like to fill the reservoir on the machine instead of removing it. It's well placed for that I think. The price was amazing, and if I can get a couple of years out of it I'll be happy honestly. It's a great starter. I don't find it to be very noisy. It's only making noise when you grind or make coffee. It's a short period of time. I just don't think it matters and it's not all that loud anyway.

The espresso machine heats up quickly, pulls consistent and rich shots (you can see from the crema in my photo!), and the steam wand works great for frothing milk. The pressure gauge is also a nice touch for dialing in the perfect shot. The grinder is easy to use with adjustable settings, and it produces a very consistent grind — essential for good espresso. One thing that really impressed me was the quality of the included accessories. Everything feels sturdy and well made, and the two espresso cups they included are absolutely adorable — they are double-walled glass, stylish, and keep the espresso hot while staying cool to the touch (see photo!). As a passionate coffee user, I can say with great responsibility that this Gevi super automatic espresso machine definitely exceeded my expectations. First of all, from the appearance, its retro cream design is very pleasing to the eye, placed in the living room is not only a coffee machine, more like a piece of art, so that the whole space instantly enhance the texture. The key design is simple and clear, and the operation is very user-friendly, even beginners can easily get started. The espresso grinder, equipped with a 20-bar high-pressure pump, steadily extracts a rich, rich espresso with a rich, delicate layer of fat, almost comparable to the quality I drink in cafes. In particular, I especially love the aroma and taste of the first cup of coffee in the morning, which has become my little happiness after getting up every day. I got this because my wife has a nesspresso and the pods cost a lot over time. It’s not perfect but very good for the price and for beginner. It’s also pretty compact so it doesn’t take up much space if you don’t have much room for a big machine.

The espresso machine arrived broken out of the box. It will turn on, but the temperature gauge does not change, and instead of waiting for it to heat up, the machine automatically powers off after a few minutes. Honestly, that's only the beginning of the problem - amazon and the manufacturer are the real issue. I initially contacted amazon for product support, went through several tests of the machine with them before concluding that it had an internal heating element failure. Amazon then bounced be over to GEVI the manufacturer for a replacement under warranty. I contacted GEVI, (who's hours on their automatic answering service directly contradict the hours of operation on amazon's website, so contacting them initially takes several attempts) and they said it was Amazon's responsibility to replace because it had been less than thirty days. Fast forward to me banging my head against a wall as I have this same conversation with Amazon/GEVI three more times, and no one will accept responsibility for providing me with a replacement. I flushed a few hundred dollars and several hours down the toilet - don't do the same to yourself.

This has everything you need to start saving money by making your own coffee drinks at home. The quality of the shots is great and as long as your using fresh ground coffee and properly cleaning the machine it taste great! It fits easily on the counter under the cabinets and does not take up a lot of room.
