The green inmature pod has a mild pungency and green been flavor. As guindilla matures, it becomes more pungent. The red guindilla is medium-hot with a sweet flavour. Used in Spain as pinxto’s or appetizers so fairly mild on the pepper scale but you’ll know it’s not a bell pepper. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Abundance - *by on Reviewed in the United States July 20, 2026* I only planted 3 seeds for this season . All germinated and producing peppers. Cant wait to pickle and eat these ! ### ⭐ These seeds are not viable *by on Reviewed in the United States September 23, 2026* not one of these seeds germinated. I grow a variety of plants and have very good success, but all the seeds I recieved did not germinate even after soaking them in water for a few days and planting in moist soil, keeping an eye on them indoors. I just threw some money out of the window.......... ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent customer service and speedy delivery. *by on Reviewed in the United States February 10, 2026* This is the now the fourth or fifth pack of seeds I've purchased from Sherwood. They are averagely priced and well packed. All packs of seeds arrived on time with the exception of one- which was due to USPS and not their fault. Even then, the last pack still found its way to the mailbox. Customer service when dealing with this issue couldn't have been better. I will continue to buy from them and I would recommend anyone to do the same! 10/10 all around! Will post update on germination rate when I've got everything in cell packs on a heating mat and under lights! ## Frequently Bought Together - Guindilla Pepper Heirloom Basque Region Pepper Premium Seed Packet + More - Basque Piment De Espelette Heirloom Spanish Pepper Premium Seeds for Planting Packet + More - Piquillo Spanish Little Beak Tapas Heirloom Pepper Premium Seed Packet + More --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.is/products/73284137-guindilla-pepper-heirloom-basque-region-pepper-premium-seed-packet-more](https://www.desertcart.is/products/73284137-guindilla-pepper-heirloom-basque-region-pepper-premium-seed-packet-more) --- *Product available on Desertcart Iceland* *Store origin: IS* *Last updated: 2026-11-01*
