The wooden fish and their basket are such a perfect fit for a fish-loving or toy-food-playing child! Our preschooler is both, and 7 months later is still going strong with these wooden fish. The paint has scratched and chipped in a few places with rough play. But they look like loved, well-played with toys, which is what they are. I wish the basket they came in was bigger, to hold other play food! But that’s not fair to expect, and it holds these fish just fine.

I plan to use these fish in my VPK 4-yr olds classroom housekeeping center. I think it is a way to incorporate multicultural food items as many cultures eat fish and have unique ways of serving it. The fish are beautifully painted and have a subtle shimmer, as real fish do. They appear to be durable and sturdy. Well made. 2 types of fish. I’m happy with this purchase!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this little crate of fish! Yes, it is SMALL... very petite but beautiful! The fish even have a glitter coat of paint over their beautiful blue colors. I bought a little Farmer's market stand for my daughter's birthday and these will be a lovely accoutrement.

Pretty color on them. However, very cheaply made. My toddler dropped this on laminate floor and the tail broke off! Definitely not worth the price. Not Melissa and Doug material

Adorable wooden fish for my grandsons 1st birthday party. Disappointed that 1 fish is chipped on the end.

Unfortunately part of one of the fishes fins broke. Within 30mins of it being delivered and the kids play grilling them it broke.

For what they are theyre really expensive and one broke after my son threw one in a strop! I got glued it back together and it’s ok for now, but annoyed at how much I love these!! They’re sparkly and really beautiful. Couldn’t resist the purchase but it is literally 6 fish in a crate 🤣
