I bought this for my JBL FLIP Speaker and love it. It’s a hard case, zippers closed, inside is cushioned with a soft velvety material, and has a section with elastic over it ,on each side of case,to hold chargers or whatever. The outer material is like a tough nylon easy to wipe off dirt or dust and totally protects speaker against spills. The handle is never going to break. It’s also a thick nylon material sewn into the case with rubber hand grip. I take my speaker everywhere and this case has protected it from all sorts of things. I would definitely buy again. Considering the price, I didn’t expect it to be so tough. Being able to wipe it down keeps it clean. Still looks brand new.

The design for protecting the Flip 5 is excellent. Case appears to be able to take a drop from about 3' and protect the Flip 5 as the interior is well padded and the exterior has a firm shell. Storage on the interior for the power supply and the charging cord. Zipper also seems to be of good quality. Also, the manufacturer has designed into the exterior of the case a flat spot so the case does not roll when opening or closing. Infact, the speakers work well just staying in the case. (of course with the top open!)

I got this as a birthday present (from my wishlist) along with the JBL Flip 4 as a replacement for my Flip 3 that stopped taking a charge. This review is only for the case though and I'm giving it 4 stars when I want to give it 4.55 stars. It is a flat black colour with one zipper and a semi-hard outer shell. I don't feel it would protect it from a great distance and it isn't waterproof...but the speaker is to a point so I guess that doesn't matter much. My biggest issue is that there is NO extra room for anything in there. The JBL flip 4 is smaller than the 3 so DO NOT GET THIS FOR A JBL 3. I didn't realize the size difference until I got them but it's pretty significant. As for anything else, there is a net/mesh pocket along the top lining of the case but you can fit the USB cable or cord and that is it. I had to find a special plug small enough to carry in the case and I keep the one it came with in a separate bag.

My son bought a JBL Bluetooth Speaker for college this fall. I wanted to surprise him to a sturdy, reliable, durable with 100% quality JBL protective case. I bought this for my son and I am very impressed. I truly recommend this case. It fits like a glove. I love the elastic strap that goes across the speaker to avoid it from falling out. It also have a long pocket on the opposite side of where the speaker goes. The extra pocket is roomy enough to put your charger and accessories. I truly recommend this case. You won't be disappointed.
