I cannot say enough good things about this. It has saved me in the heat since my ac is down in my apartment. Yes it’s only meant to be directly on you but it will cool you down significantly. Don’t listen to these reviews saying it doesn’t work. It does! 12/10

Our desktop breeze box placed next to my hamster cage. It never blows hard bt enough to keep things feeling airy in the corner where it gets stuffy.

I bought this little cooler for my cats, I used it a total of 3xs. Each time I used it, i added water & not 10 min in to having it on the water was everywhere. It soaked the mat it was on, the area where it connects to the power cord was completely wet! I figured I may have overfilled it so I tried it again- NOPE! same issue. I had it on a flat surface, monitored it (I thought maybe my cats had messed with it), put maybe a1/2 cup of water in it & it leaked everywhere. I did notice the filter too was questionable- when I received the package I had to take of the little plastic coverings & noticed the filter was a brown paper material & it shed when I touched it. Im not sure if its a recycled or ecofriendly material but it looked used & for $100 it was def not the quality I expected. The air flow had 3-4 settings & it was decent & had good blowing strength but overall, a horrible product & way too overpriced.

Bought last night to survive a heat wave near Seattle with no air con. I wasn't sure if it would work in my area, since we were at 60% humidity-- Swamp coolers don't work well in high humidity areas, and I didn't know if that was too high. I have a small room thermometer that was reading 82F in my room at 10pm when I was getting ready to go to sleep. Placed the evachill on my headboard and let it do its thing for an hour, then placed the thermometer in front of it. It read 75F, plenty cool for sleeping. Actually got cold in the night (didn't measure then) and had to grab a blanket. Literally when it gets this hot at night, I usually sleep in a tent in the yard. I think I won't have to anymore, this is great! I'm not seeing anything close to 25 degrees cooler as claimed, but I do live in an area of decent humidity. I would not be surprised if it performs even better in arid environments. I would say though, have reasonable expectations for <$100 unit-- this only cools about 3 feet directly in front of it. Put it on your desk or headboard, you will feel it and it will make a difference. Expect it to cool a room or two people sitting in different directions, it's just not made for that.
