ASICS Men's Gel-Nimbus 27 Running Shoes

This is a great shoe! Had to take a 3 month break from an MCL injury and my other shoes would hurt my knee when running, these eliminated that and was able to get back to running with no pain. They are heavy and now I just use them for recovery or slow runs. Very comfortable and supportive. Highly recommend.

I've purchased the most top-of-the-line sneakers in the industry, and I have to say this is truly the best. The fit the feel the comfort is not matched by any other brand. I feel like I'm walking on air. This is only my second ownership of Asics But give all the hype this is a tremendous brand

I needed some every day shoes to wear around the house and during the day for normal things I do. I do not run or jog but I do walk my dogs 4-5 times a day and I am on my feet a lot. I am older and weight 200 lbs. so I was putting a lot of stress on my feet, and they were starting to hurt when I walked. I did a lot of research and pretty much ended up buying several high end "recovery" or "comfort" shoes. Nike, Brooks, Asics, Addidas, Hoka, On, etc. And for the money I think the Asics Nimbus 27 provide the best combination of cushion and stability. Some other shoes had more padding but were unstable, others were stable but didn't have enough padding. And because a newer Asics model is available (Nimbus 28) you can find the Nimbus 27 at a discount and I feel they are just as good as the newer version.

Love 'em. I have long periods of time when I have to stand for 3.5 hours with very few options to move around. These shoes keep my feet relaxed and are very comfortable when I am able to move. I'll buy more. Well worth the $$$'s,

This is the third pair of this model I've purchased for my husband. Why three pairs? Because he wants to have a future supply! He says it's like walking on a cloud. He spends 6 hours a day in the gym and needs quality shoes. They are lightweight and will last him a year. The styles are great as you can select shoes that stand out or blend in with your outfit.

To start, shoes are super subjective and vary individual by individual, so please keep that in mind while reading my review. I love ASICS and almost exclusively have ASICS in my running shoe rotation. These shoes felt amazing under my feet. They were plush and soft and very comfortable. I also love that this model offers attractive colors in wide and extra wide widths. Much like all other ASICS shoes, they feel very well made and durable. I gave them a 4 star rating just because they seem to run large and seem to have a small degree of slippage around my heel that I couldn’t fix. Other than that, they’re very, very comfortable shoes

I have a very bad back and we are planning a trip to Rome in October so I needed some comfortable shoes. These ASICS are fantastic! They feel like walking on pillows and have such a great spring to them. They are also very roomy and provide great support! I have had Hoka, Brooks, Sketchers and Saucony and have to say these feel better than any of them. HIGHLY recommend!

By FAR the best shoes I’ve ever purchased. The material is soft and pliable, and the gel is so soft and springy that they almost feel…wrong. I’ve just taken up running at the ripe old age of 57, and did some research to find these shoes. I purchased them on international reviews alone and am very glad I did. I was running on some older Sketchers and these feel like clouds in comparison. My aging knees and shins are no longer complaining, and I seem to be able to jog farther than I did without them. I love them so much, I ordered another pair for just everyday use and got my wife a pair to boot! As long as they keep making these shoes; that’s what I’ll be wearing. One thing…they may look a bit odd (but they’re extremely comfortable and my 57 year old brain no longer cares about such things) however, if you do, buy the fully colored ones where the padding is the same color as the rest of the shoe. No one will notice.
