I've worn them in the rain many times without a problem. Mind you, I wouldn't submerge them fully in water. They are very nice, comfortable and warm boots. Highly recommend!! **Q: Do these boots suit wide feet with high arches?** A: I myself have wide feet and high arches. I did purchase I size higher than normal and my boots fitted like a glove. I’ve had them about 9 months and wear them daily walking my three dogs every morning mainly over farm land. Reduced my rating from 3 stars to 1 star. Would make it 0 stars if it was possible.My suggestion - AVOID.ORIGINAL REVIEW…I thought I'd pay a little more than I normally do for some good walking boots and the reviews online were full of praise and at first these seemed perfect. The fit is great, they seem tough and (I thought) durable.I received these on 12th March 2020 but discovered that by today (1st June 2020) when picking a few stones out of the sole there was a significant amount of wear on one side of the soles. I understand that boots wear depending on a persons walking gait, but I would have expected the boots to last longer than just over two and a half months!Sure, if I was hiking up and down rocky mountains every single day there'd be wear and tear, but all I've been doing is taking my dog for a walk to the beach and climbing up and down sand dunes etc. Hardly heavy duty use.I'm returning these for a replacement pair (Amazon's live chat assistant was very helpful and the boots will be arriving tomorrow) so will update this review if the same thing happens/doesn't happen again… fingers crossed the next pair survive longer. ### ⭐ Poor quality control *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 12 December 2023* I had to send these back due to manufacturing defect.I really wanted to love these boots, because they are beautiful, but when I tried them in I noticed some pain in a place on my foot.When I took the boot off I found, that where the 2 pieces of leather are seemed together there is a bump on one of the boots. The material was much thicker on this boot around the seem than on the other one and it was putting pressure on my foot. ### ⭐ Shocking soles *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 4 February 2023* These claim to be vibram soles. They don’t last long at all. After a walk of the hour On concrete my heals have already worn away considerably. Reading the reviews this seems very common. Considering these are meant to be 165-175 full price. It’s shocking. Avoid these at all cost. the soles of a pair of walking boots is a big part.
