It worked great ...until the guy that let his paddleboard float away came back and got it! lol...He thought I stole it!..Dude needs to learn how to tie a knot! Dang motor boaters! Those of us that sail have to learn 50 knots, all they gotta learn is one or two! Sheesh!

TOTAL MISREPRESENTATION. THE DESCRIPTION SAYS IT WILL FIT A SHORT BOX LIKE A JIMMY STYKS BOARD, WHICH IS WHAT I ORDERED IT FOR. IT IS TOO LONG AND DOES NOT FIT EVEN AFTER SHAVING THE ENDS WITH MY DREMEL.

Bought this to try and change the fin setup on one of my longboards. Too loose in the fin box. Tried it on different board with the same result. Ended up using a 20+ year old fin from my very first longboard (bought used) that went into the fin box without issue. I did use the plate and screw that came with this fin although I recommend getting a o-ring (purchased from auto parts store) for it as it somehow worked itself quite loose during one session. The fin itself seems decent in terms of quality - feels like it should last. Going to either shim it or slather on some epoxy resin to get it to work in the fin box at a later date. For the price, no big deal.

I wasnt expecting much, just a cheap plastic fin to use as a backup, but I really cant fault this product. Pleasantly surprised by better than expected quality.

Super easy to install, works amazingly, fits my Jimmy Stykes Monsoon inflatable paddleboard perfectly, and it even comes with a nifty foam protecting case for storage. All in all, very good stuff!
