Far easier to spread on a wet surface with wet gloved finger than dry. Handled with wet gloves it is as workable and easy to spread/push into cracks with a finger as clay or auto body filler, almost impossible to get it to stick to dry concrete and will not likely bond well either.

This stuff is fantastic! I help to maintain the community pool for our condominium association, which is an oval pool with fiberglass sides and a plaster bottom. The caulk between each of the fiberglass panels had deteriorated and we were losing significant amounts of water through the seams. We considered draining the pool to re-caulk the seams prior to opening, but with the heavy storms and flooding in our area, we were afraid that hydrostatic pressure could do further damage to the pool. After quite a bit of research I found this product and it seemed like the perfect answer. I cut the compound, including the cardboard tube, in sections about 1 inch long from each tube and mixed/kneaded the two materials per the instructions. I then rolled the product into strings about the thickness of a cigarette and applied them to the seams, both underwater and above water. When I ran out of material, I mixed more, doing it in this fashion to ensure that the product didn't begin to harden before application. Application was simple, and it was easy to smooth the material into place and ensure a tight seal with just my finger. I sealed all 10 seams with one set of the product. I checked the seams after an hour, and every seam still looked perfect and the product was literally as hard as a rock. Time will tell if the product holds up as promised, but I see no reason why it should not. Using this product was actually far easier and less expensive than using Vulkem Seal or a traditional caulking product, and was easier and neater to apply. I also expect it won't deteriorate like other sealants. Based upon my experience so far, I would definitely recommend this to anyone requiring a sealant for similar purposes. I also intend to make this product known to my local pool supply company to recommend to others with similar issues.
