Calvin Klein Women's Essentials Long-Sleeve Night Dress

I love these nightshirts because they are comfortable for me and my boyfriend likes them too because they are form fitting. They drapes your curves without being binding or restrictive. The material feels so nice on your skin as well as to the touch. It is the perfect compromise for me and my boyfriend. If you are self-conscious then it may not be ideal because it does show all your lumps and bumps and cellulite but if you are comfortable with your shape then I highly recommend them. I have had 3 for years and I wanted some more and this is the only place I could find them. They are totally worth every penny. I wash them on cold and dry on low or air dry and I have had the 3 I had previously for years. They haven't shrunk a bit. The sleeves are long, which i love. I can't say enough good things about them. I will continue to buy as long as I can find them.

I always love Calvin Klein, and I never seem to go wrong with the brand. This night dress is comfortable and I can wear it around the house without feeling awkward if there is company, because it looks like a shirt /dress. I throw on a pair of joggers with it and feel comfortable without a bra on because its black. Very happy with it. The small fits great. I'm 34 years old, 5'6 with a slim build, 120lbs. And my husband likes it too! Elegant style to it, but don't expect anything too sexy or wow factor. Nice all around nightie, haven't washed it yet, so can't comment on its durability over time.Actually, after writing back months later, I am still happy, but the only comment would be that it can be a bit hot at night and not breathable. I often wear a t shirt underneath and pull it off if I get too hot during the night...but I'm very picky that way

I'm constantly on the look out for the softest of the softest clothes and pajamas. I am highly sensitive to textures and I am always on the hunt for the best, comfiest clothes. I read people's reviews here and made the decision to try this. It is a really beautiful black nightgown, I don't think the deep V is flattering for some people (including me) it mostly feels odd. It looks pretty and is indeed soft, but not as soft as I would like it to be (I'm very picky - for normal people this would probably be more than sufficient softness). It also has a slightly awkward fit depending on how tall you are (I am 5' 9'' and often run into the issue of things being too short for me) I ended up returning it because it was not precisely what I needed. Still on the hunt for the perfect comfy nightgown.

This nightdress is modal, which is very soft and comfortable. I wish it came in more colors. I bought the black in large, even though I wear a size 8 dress, as I wanted to allow for possible shrinkage and I wanted a loose fit. I put it in the washer and dryer on delicate/low. It dried quickly with only a little shrinkage, and was lightweight and cool to wear. I would definitely buy again for spring or fall weather. Too lightweight for winter, and probably not for summer since it has long arms.

I have a similar CK nightdress, however this one is much lighter. (Also, this one does not have a built-in shelf bra like my other one). It washes well and holds it shape and color. True to size and very soft. I have black and it is not see-through. I would have given five stars if not for the summer-weight feel of it. Being long-sleeved, I would have expected a heavier fabric.Update: 5/25/12I've embraced the lighter fabric because I think it is even softer now, and it hasn't developed lint balls. Looks as new as when I got it. So soft and cozy, Sleeves are nice and long. Held its shape and I throw it in the washer and dryer. I'd give it 5 stars.

Have been trying to successfully replace a very old nightshirt I've worn and loved for 20 years. It's still in good shape but getting thin. I've bought one nightshirt after another and not been pleased -- too thick, sleeves too short, poor fit, etc. This nightshirt? Love everything about it. The sleeves are nice and long, the length is perfect, the neckline too, and it's lightweight and feels nearly silky to the touch. And it's attractive to boot. If the customer unhappy with the offset seams had exchanged it for another, I'm certain that would have addressed the problem. Sometimes you get an off product. I will have to purchase another in another color soon, I love it that much.

Just got this night dress and I love it. I ordered a large and I'm 5'2" 150 lbs-larger on top. The length comes to right above the knee, but it has a really cute slit on each side, so I like the length. Naturally, it will be pretty short on a tall lady. The fabric is lightweight, soft and very comfortable. I'm at that lovely stage in life where I'm hot pretty much all the time but I think this little dress will be my go to loungewear. I only wish there was a bigger color selection!

This nightshirt is super soft and so comfy! I have not had any issues with it twisting as in some of the other reviews. I love the long sleeves that keep my arms warm in the night while sleeping if I pull them out of the covers. The slightly longer length from some of the other Calvin Klein gowns I have is very welcome too. Modest in length while still nicely fit at the same time. One note: I have personally found it to be a little larger in size in comparison to my other Calvin gowns. I probably could have gone with a small vs the medium.
