Good frame, but came with fake wooden top not 1 inch thick as advertised
Came with a fake wooden top not flexispot brand also wasnt 1inch thick as advertised, with no pre cut holes and also very delicate, just screwing it created a hole on the other side..

Solid desk, great value for the money
I've used high-end electric desks at work, and since you typically get what you pay for, I was a bit wary of buying one for home that was so relatively inexpensive. But overall the reviews were positive enough (especially regarding customer service) and there were some good tips regarding assembly, so I figured it was worth the risk. Both boxes arrived with the contents in perfect condition: the boxes used very thick, heavy cardboard, and the corner protectors on the desktop were made of a very dense rubber. I've unpacked a lot of furniture (assembling desks for classrooms and computer labs), and the packaging for this desk puts many so-called "commercial" products to shame. Any damage that might occur would be due to careless shipping and handling - not how the factory packed it. Assembling the desk was straightforward enough, although I've put together enough of this sort of furniture over the years that there weren't any surprises. Just take your time, follow the steps, and you'll be fine. This can be assembled by one person, but a second set of hands will make things easier. All of the pre-drilled holes lined up where they were supposed to. One assembly tip: line up one of the end holes in a leg with its corresponding hole in the desktop, and drop a thin nail into the hole to give it something to pivot around. Then with that hole aligned, line up each of the other holes, again dropping a thin nail into each one until they're all aligned. Then drive the screws, replacing each nail, one at a time. No guesswork, no misaligned screws, no do-overs. The only two pilot holes I had to add were for the center crossbar, so you will need a drill and a small bit (a hand drill or pin vise would work for this). For driving all of the screws I used a hand screwdriver, so I wouldn't run the risk of stripping out the particle board. Everything went together very nicely. There were no stripped threads or alignment issues. Overall, I felt the quality of the desk and and the fit and finish of the parts were excellent and exceeded my expectations. The motor operates pretty quietly, and raises and lowers the desk just fine, even with a bunch of stuff piled on top of it (I don't plan on testing what its limits are - it holds what I need). I had an error message pop up on the controller once when I attempted to recall a saved height, but unplugging the desk from power and reconnecting it resolved that. No issues since. The desk is solid and stable. At its higher settings it will sway a little bit when leaned on, but that's just physics at work - if you need something that's really solid at full height, get something with four legs instead of two. The only (minor) gripe that I have is that the cords could be a bit longer: the one for the control panel so you could reposition it if you needed to; and the power cord which barely reaches the width of the desk. I'm very pleased with this purchase. It met my budget, and exceeded my expectations. It's a good-looking, solid, quality desk. Hopefully it'll hold up over time - but so far, so good!

Nice looking, high quality desk
High quality product. Looks good. Desktop is laminated with the color material even on the bottom which is better than many others. Relatively easy to assemble except a couple of parts (hooks) did not have pre-drilled holes in the desktop making it a little more difficult to get through the laminate with the screws. If I had pre drilled my own holes it would have been easier. I did not because I was concerned about drilling all the way through.

Highly recommend
So happy we got this. It is heavy & very sturdy. Comes in 2 boxes. Really like that the desktop comes as one piece. It's thick ( 1 " I think). Looks much more expensive than it was. The top looks like real wood ( don't know if it is). We got the mahogany and it looks classy. The base is very sturdy. 2 women put this together. The instructions could have been better but we worked through it. The connections all aligned nicely. Tools were enclosed and not cheaply made. I think we needed to use our phillips head screwdriver at one point (they say you can use a motorized version but you definitely don't need to). The motorized mechanism was also easy to assemble. The electric height adjustment worked well and is a great idea as you may be sitting at this desk a long time and proper height is very important. Also so much better than trying to adjust a chair. We got the 48 x 30 " desktop. The extra 6" over the 24" top was definitely worth it. Would get this again in a heartbeat

Solid on a budget
The desk ships in 2 pieces. The legs arrived in 3 days, but the desktop took almost 2 weeks to arrive. The assembly was easy w/clear instructions. The desktop is heavy and seems sturdy, not sure how it would hold up to stains or water spots. But there is a smooth somewhat shiny top. The motor is not loud, but you can hear it. it smoothly moves up and down with ample height. Its still quite stable at it's fully standing height. It would have been even better if i came with a cable organization accessory. The Mahogany color has very red undertones. Very warm in color.

Awesome desk so far!
I've had my desk for about 3 months so far and the short review is I'm pretty satisfied. Read on for the longer review. One bigger complaint is that the desktop was damaged in shipping somewhere. It is only supported in the box at the corners so if it gets dropped or crushed on the edges it will likely damage the surface in some way. Mine arrived having been dropped (twice!) on the corner of something and there is a dent on both sides. Thankfully the larger dent is on the back so not a terrible loss. I can live with the blemish on the front edge. Check the desktop thoroughly for damage upon receipt. There weren't any predrilled holes for a couple of the screws on the desktop either. While not a big deal you have to take care not to damage the surface when assembling. Other than those 2 complaints I'm more than happy with the desk. For literally a fraction of the price of other motorized standing desks the quality is excellent. I have mine on carpet and even at full height there is little to no wobble and that's due more to the uneven surface than the desk itself. Other more expensive desks can have a wobble even at the lowest height due to having no shims between the leg extension pieces. This thing is rock solid even when leaning heavily on it. This thing is heavy! And that's a good thing. I was expecting cheaply made and lightweight steel but was pleasantly surprised. This makes for a very solid structure and no worries about it tipping over or wobbling to the point of something falling off the surface. As long as you follow the assembly instructions there shouldn't be a problem. Just pay close attention and keep the screws a bit loose until you get it all assembled to make sure everything is aligned properly first before tightening. Wouldn't hurt to check the screws/bolts again every few months just to make sure it stays sound. The motor is a bit slow but seems to work just fine. I wouldn't lean on it or anything while raising/lowering to make sure it's not over taxed. The transformer has a UL listing on it also so that's a great thing. Overall I'm definitely happy with the purchase and have told others to buy already as long as they make sure there's no damage to the desktop on arrival. I'll update if anything changes for the worse down the road.
