Bought a 4x8 ft in the ‘two high’ variant but have decided I’ll actually make it as two single-height beds. The wood was good quality although rough sawn ends. These are working beds not pretty sanded wood. Went together easily. All screws were the same length and the right length for all the connections (end posts and middle connectors). I found it easy and fast to assemble with power tools. It would take a lot longer and more effort if you were using a simple screwdriver as you need to screw through into the wood. You need to use a bit of logic at the corners as there are 2 sets of pilot holes on the planks and you want to use the right one or you’ll miss the post, but it’s not complicated to work it out. The final assembled bed is strong and looks like it will keep its shape well even with an 8ft length. And it was cheaper than buying the equivalent wood at any of my local DIY stores or builders merchants.

I was drawn to this kit by the wide range of customisable sizes, as I wanted a long slimline raised bed for a narrow border. Arrived very quickly and well packaged. All required pieces were present - just one screw short. Recommend assembling on a nice, flat surface and using a cordless driver. Some of the long (front and back) sections were inconsistently sized in my kit, resulting in a few small vertical gaps in the assembled unit. A number of the pre-drilled pilot holes were in the wrong position and others were absent - drilling new pilot holes with a 2mm wood bit was no big deal though. Once assembled, it’s sturdy and looks pretty good if you don’t dwell on a few small vertical gaps. Decent enough for the money.

Exactly as stated, easy to build and very sturdy

Poor quality wood that had many warped pieces, poor quality in appearance's and not the same length. 48 screws missing. Instructions were very poor in description despite being quite simple to put together. Very disappointed for the price and would not recommend.

Arrived in time flat packed. No instructions included, a lot of chips in the wood already on arrival. It’s not a difficult assembly and does what it says on the tin but overall not fully satisfied given its cost, at the end of the day it was some wood and screws..

Perfect for my wisteria and easy to assemble.

Best assembled on flat ground.

Easy to put together, looks great, does the job!
