After the carpet is washed several times it does stop shedding the excesses fabric. If you hang it outside to dry in the sun you will save energy, the wear and tear on the dryer and the carpet will be dry in a short time on a sunshiny hot day.

Very nice rug. Colors are very soft and pretty. Rug lays flat without scooting. It is thick and absorbant. Highly recommend.

When I ordered this item, it said it was washer approved so when I put it into my washer, I washed it well before it’s been out or drained. I looked in it. The whole thing was clear full of the whole thing was coming apart, so I stopped it I had to take a drainer From a food drainer and start straining out all of the lint before it went through my washer pump to ruin my washer. It was a beautiful rug. I love the rug, but now it’s ruined. What do I do? How do I get it clean? How do I rinse it out? It’s fell apart pretty much. I got gobs and gods of the stuff off of it. I mean football size I do not recommend this rug to no one. It’s beautiful. Yes if you buy it take it outside outside and get you a spray hose wash it that way don’t take a chance put it in your washer and get it stopped Up. Your pump will go bad. Take my word for it. They need to refund my money. I bought the whole set three pieces the long piece, the next size and the neck size.
