Review: I love love love these inserts (insoles) - Finally, something that works with all of my shoes. I love love love these inserts (insoles). I initially bought two pair and now that I've worn them for a while I ordered four more pair. I mostly wear Skechers shoes, size 8 1/2 or 9, depending on the shoe. I've tried the 3/4 inserts provided by my podiatrist (that cost me $50, not covered by insurance) and some Dr. Scholls custom fit CF210 orthotics (just found out you can get a $10 rebate if you purchased these during certain time period and you can get full refund if not entirely satisfied). All of the inserts I''ve tried made my feet more comfy in the sneaker type shoes. However, my size 8 1/2 Mary Jane style Skechers were only comfy with the Pedag 17947 Holiday 3/4 Leather Ultra Light insert. Specifically I am having an issue with my left foot metatarsal area and I was able to wear my Mary Jane style Skechers with these inserts all day and felt absolutely no pain or discomfort. These are now my favorite inserts and I will continue to buy them in the future. The stiff leather is not uncomfortable. I thought I would not like a 3/4 insert vs. full but so far that difference is not causing me any problems. I can't or won't remove any of the insoles already in my shoes because they are all permanent. When I removed one of these a couple of years ago, the inside of the shoe was left with bits of original insole. That's fine if you are replacing with a perfect fitting full size insole but the 3/4 doesn't fill the entire shoe. These insoles are so thin yet shaped perfectly to provide me with needed arch support and metatarsal relief without making the shoe too tight. I did not remove the sticky pad on the bottom because I was trying the inserts in multiple shoes, however, some of the clear plastic cover came off the sticky part and it stuck to the insole of my shoe. It also made a slight indent but that's OK because I plan to buy more of these inserts so I have one set for every pair of shoes I wear regularly. I've provided a picture that shows the shoes I wear the most. Sneaker and Mary Jane with these insoles, White Skecher Work Shoe with Dr. Sholls insole, and the insoles from Podiatrist.
Review: Finally a Versatile, Lightweight Orthotic that Works! - I have had foot problems for many years, exasperated by long hours standing on them when I was a librarian. As a result, I've ended up with Morton's Neuroma on both feet, plantar fasciitis at different points in my life, and several claw toes. All this to say, my feet have not been happy feet, despite the fact that I have never been one to wear high heels. I've always worn comfortable shoes but it wasn't making a difference. My podiatrist made some custom orthotics for me but they were heavy and clunky and I felt like I was walking around with weights strapped to my feet. I STILL was having foot problems so I figured, why put myself through the annoyance of those heavy things. The next thing my podiatrist suggested were different Dr. Scholls inserts, like the Air Pillow insoles. They were more comfortable but tended to make my feet crowded in my shoes, which often then gave my feet a sensation of having "gone to sleep" (i.e. that pins and needles sensation) or they'd feel swollen and tight. Finally, this Christmas, my daughter-in-law gave me these Pedag Holiday orthotic cushions. She is in a medical residency program and had asked the head of Podiatry at her hospital if he had any recommendations. These are the orthotics he recommended. He said he'd been recommending them to many of his podiatry patients and had been hearing a lot of good reports back about them. Well, I've been using them since Christmas and they are fantastic. Because they are just a 3/4 length orthotic, my toes aren't cramped. I no longer have any pins and needles sensations and no feelings of tight, swollen feet. I have high arches and these have provided tremendous support. They truly are lightweight and they don't add any appreciable weight when they are slipped into a pair of shoes. It's wonderful. Because they are so thin, I haven't had to take out the regular lining in my shoes. I just slip them into a pair and off I go. They work great in my sport clogs and in my loafers. In fact, I am so pleased with them that I just ordered another pair so that I can have a pair in each of the shoes I wear the most. I highly recommend this product. My feet are finally happy feet again.

## Features

- HANDMADE IN GERMANY, APMA ACCEPTED: Built by Pedag from vegetable-tanned sheepskin leather and awarded the APMA Seal of Acceptance for promoting good foot health.
- THIN 3/4 LENGTH FOR TIGHT SHOES: Stops behind the ball of the foot so dress shoes, loafers, pumps and ballet flats still fit, adding arch support without crowding the toe box.
- BALL OF FOOT AND METATARSAL RELIEF: Metatarsal pad lifts the forefoot to ease ball-of-foot pressure, metatarsalgia and Morton's neuroma in narrow or heeled shoes.
- ARCH SUPPORT FOR PLANTAR FASCIITIS: Anatomically shaped longitudinal arch bar stabilizes the arch and helps control overpronation, easing heel pain and arch strain from standing all day.
- BREATHABLE SHEEPSKIN LEATHER: Vegetable-tanned leather wicks moisture and stays cool instead of trapping heat like gel or foam. Cushioned heel absorbs impact shock. Trim to fit.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: When I have a half size shoe should I size up or down?**
A: I work for Pedag USA. Pedag recommends 1/2 sizes order the next larger whole size. This item is not trimmable because the semi-rigid footbed covers the entire 3/4 length and width except for about a 1/4 inch at the very top.

**Q: size**
A: The size is spot-on. I wear size 10 M; I bought these orthotic in 10 M women's and they are a perfect fit.

**Q: Do these inserts help if you are classified as a supinator and need arch support? Thanks!**
A: Rose with Pedag USA: Holiday is semi-rigid and helps keep feet in correct alignment. For those with moderate alignment concerns Holidya should benefit you. If you have very high arches and a great degree of over-supination you may not benefit from a semi-rigid orthotic because your foot is already too rigid in the mid-foot. The more flexible support in our item Relax may work better. Relax also has a heel cup that provides stability. Pedag makes two items for over-supinators: Correct Plus and Correct. Over-supination with or without high arches is much less common than over-pronation. Hence, there are very few over the counter items made people with these issues.

**Q: would you recommend these for a long distance runner?**
A: I don't run long distance, but I do run. My issues are plantar fasciitis and a neuroma, and these are very helpful. I can't run without them.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Like Walking on Clouds: The Perfect Blend of Comfort and Support!
*by A***T on October 31, 2023*

I recently purchased the Pedag Holiday 3/4 Length Sheepskin Orthotic Inserts, and I must say, they have been an absolute game changer for my feet. Living with plantar fasciitis, I’ve tried numerous insoles, but none have matched the comfort and support these provide. Comfort: The sheepskin top layer feels luxurious and soft, offering a cozy sensation that doesn’t diminish over time. It’s like having a mini spa for my feet inside my shoes! Support: Despite their plush feel, these inserts don’t skimp on support. The 3/4 length design with arch support is perfect for stabilizing my feet and has significantly reduced my heel pain. They strike an ideal balance between softness and structural support. Fit: They fit seamlessly into most of my shoes without making them feel tight or overcrowded, which is a common issue with full-length orthotics. Their versatility is a big plus, as I can switch them between my work shoes and casual wear without any hassle. Durability: After several weeks of use, they’ve maintained their shape and comfort, indicating good durability. Though only time will tell how they hold up in the long run, they seem well-made and sturdy. Value: Considering the relief and comfort they’ve provided, I find them to be an excellent investment for anyone struggling with foot discomfort or seeking enhanced support in their footwear. In summary, the Pedag Holiday 3/4 Length Sheepskin Orthotic Inserts are a top-notch product for anyone looking to upgrade their foot comfort without sacrificing shoe space or style. Highly recommended!
