Should i buy this watch?

Yes, it’s great looking and a great value.

Do the hands glow in the dark ?

yes, but barely. the hands have a very faint line of glow paint on them, but it is not noticable during normal use. if i am outside in the sunlight and then i come indoors to a dark room, the glow is slightly visible for perhaps ten minutes.the silver of the hands and the black watch face make it easy to read this watch in dim light, but in darkness it is not a good watch.

What is the lug width?

I am happy to confirm that the lug width, e.g. for a new band, is 20mm. I measured this on my own watch.

Is the ticking loud or quiet?

Quiet. I can hear it only if I press it to my ear.
