Hot tip- I love this gum but people need to be warned how to get it off your fingers. Chicle gum will stick to your fingers like nobody’s business. Use the little paper provided. To get it off your fingers use cooking oil, petroleum jelly or peanut butter or ice. I wish I had this warning before touching it to throw it away. I didn’t grow up with chicle gum so I wasn’t aware. But the gum has amazing taste and texture and I’ll be buying it on the regular.

When you have a kid, you start to question all those things you took for granted were no big deal. The occasional candy. The occasional soda. The occasional piece of chewing gum. I like to chew gum when I drive. It keeps me from disemboweling rude, insane drivers who threaten the lives of those around them by their selfishness. At hem. Chewing gum calms me down and nobody gets hurt. But it turns out gum that is sold in the USA all has "gum base" as the secret ingredient. When you look up gum base you find it's made from--you'll never guess so I'll tell you--paint chips and car tires. Seriously. Latex and rubber. We who like to chew gum are putting toxic substances into our bodies and gum manufacturers get away with it because we don't swallow gum--normally. In my parents' generation, one could buy gum that was made from chicle, which comes from a tree and is 100% natural and nontoxic. Somehow this morphed into made-in-China and the secret rubber-tire-and-paint-chip junk that is passed off as gum base. I looked hard for a gum that had chicle in it and finally found one--Simply Gum. Not only is it natural, the ingredients are simple, familiar and pronounceable. Simply Gum tastes great too and has a fantastic, smooth texture. Our favorite flavors are the licorice, the mint, and the cinnamon (which is spicy--yum!). You don't have to feel anything but good about chewing Simply Gum. Okay, it does cost more than the latex-rubber gum, but we don't chew more than a piece a day at most. We feel that our health and well-being are most definitely worth it. I gave this VERY EXPENSIVE gum a try hoping it would substitute regular gum in a healthier but also more practical way. It did not. Not only did it not taste like peppermint, but close to a licorice cardboard taste, but the flavor lasted not even 2 minutes, much less time than the vast majority of the gum sold out there. The shapes were like earplugs and kinda looked like that too. The WORST PART is they actually stuff the pack with cardboard at the bottom which fills up 1/4 -1/5 of the pack so LESS gum and more packaging as you can see in the picture. REALLY sleazy move on their end. Make the package smaller or fill it all the way up with the gun, regardless of how bad the gum is. I was already hesitant to spend this much on gum, but when I saw the packging, I was like, okay at least there is a fair amount of gum in there. But NO! Will not buy again.

I first tried this from a grocery store. I was surprised at how great the taste was! It is refreshing; flavor lasts long; it's a bit pricey but it's natural. It gets sticky when chewed a long time. It starts off a bit firm, but gets very soft. They are little nuggets and you can see it has papers to throw your used gum away with. They thought of everything! The package also locks after opening too! And with THIS mint gum you can blow bubbles.

Better than I expected. Other users mentioned sticking to their teeth - it Does Not (I've had natural gum that did before, not this manufacturer though). Chews like normal gum. Minty taste lasts a long time to. Rivals chemistry gum in every way. Awesome value - I'll never go back.

I recently tried Simple Gum’s peppermint flavor, and overall it’s a mixed experience. I anxiously awaited as I frequently checked the track shipment page on the website to see if the package would get here sooner. A few days went by as my excitement grew. The track page suddenly updated showing arrival 2 days sooner than expected!! Sure enough the next day it arrived in the mail. I opened my mailbox knowing, yet, still with a twinge of uncertainty, if it had surely arrived and of course, as you already know, it had in fact arrived!! I could smell the mint through the bubble wrap package and I couldn't wait to open it up as I quickly nearly skipped back inside my house. I tossed the rest of the mail on the dining room table and scrambled up the stairs, stubbing my big toe in the process, to get to my room. Due to my haste I dropped the precious morsel onto the carpet, thank goodness for bubble wrap packaging, and I gently opened up the envelope. I apparently wasn't gentle enough because I ripped the seal open. I gently pry the rest of the seal away from the envelope and as I open the package a burst of mint punched its way out and hit me straight in the nose and I was sold... again. I slide the cute little box out of the envelope and cut away the tape that sealed my prize inside. I flipped open the lid and there laying in the box are 6 small packs of gum stacked on top of each other like towels on a rack. I popped one out of place, again breaking the seal protecting my prize, and BAM! Haha no, no explosion with fire and destruction but my mind had just...been...blown... This gum wasn't like any other gum I'd ever seen!! They were cylindrical shaped pieces, as if they'd been pinched off piece by piece. I was almost reluctant to try it and I was unsure of how many pieces to put into my mouth, so I started with one. The texture was certainly different, but in a good way, a new experience for sure. I started to chew and was surprised by how faint the flavor of mint was to my taste buds when it is was so strong to my nose. The difference was though, that the flavor stayed with the gum. A truly NATURAL flavor! Oh and by the way, here's a little "secret" each pack of gum actually has MORE than 15 pieces in it so you can definitely get away with chewing 2 at a time if you'd like :D Thanks so much SIMPLY GUM keep up the good work!! -Satisfied Customer

Excited to have found a corn free gum. Great for people like myself who have a corn intolerance, allergy or simply wish to have a more natural gum. Very happy to have found this product.

Ces chewing-gum n'ont absolument pas de goût. J'ai pris la version menthe, et à peine en bouche le goût est déjà partie. A ce prix là c'est une honte. Par contre ils ne collent pas au dents comme indiqué dans certains commentaires. Je ne les conseille absolument pas.
