うん十年ぶりに再購入しましたが、やはり電気ポット型のパーコレーター はテンション上がるなー（笑） 前に使ってたパーコレーターより、コチラのは少し小ぶりで可愛い感じで、逆に使い勝手が良いです。付属のコードは短めですが、個人的には長くて余るより◎ 着いて早速使いましたが、立ちこめるコーヒーの香り、コポコポとコーヒーが沸く音、ピカピカで美しいステンレスのフォルム… つい眺めてはニンマリ、なんかワクワクする〜（笑） また毎朝の楽しみが出来て嬉しいな、もっと早く買えばよかった〜 (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵)

９７歳のおふくろが亡くなつたオヤジの影響で一日３～５杯コーヒーを飲みます。もちろん私が好きでコーヒーをいれます。 何時でも好きな時に飲めるようにサイホンに朝からたてておきます。通電式のプレストは手軽だけでなく年寄りにも安心して 使えるので大変重宝しております。

コーヒーメーカーより場所を取らないので、我が家の狭いキッチンに最適です。 そしておしゃれ。

I don’t know the technical reasons but percolated coffee seems to be richer, rounder and have a luxuriously enhanced acidic component that really accentuates the umami of the coffee. I only regret that I didn’t buy the bigger percolator. Also the paper filters are a bit of a pain to fit into the basket withou tearing them. I probably need to look for filters that are smaller and less fiddly to fit. 技術的な理由はわかりませんが、パーコレーションコーヒーはより豊かで丸みを帯びており、コーヒーのうま味を本当に強調する贅沢に強化された酸性成分を持っているようです。もっと大きなパーコレーターを買わなかったことを後悔しているだけです。パーコレーターバスケットも小さいので、紙フィルター入れるのが面倒です。よくやぶれます。

出来上がったら自動で電気が切れるので見てなくていいから楽です。

５０年前の米軍家族の家庭で良い匂いをおもいだし、注文しましたが使ってみるとそれなりでした。やっぱり、ペーパードリップには負けますね。

Pro: Easy to use maintain it to temperature good countenance (600ml) Con: quite light coffee, need to use more coffee than other classic coffee maker if want more dark one washing it needs not to wet the base (mine received drops and the led is toasted because of it)

Es una compra que deseaba hace tiempo y no me defraudó, prepara un café en su punto de caliente con un sabor de las cafeteras antiguas de calidad q habia en casa de las mamás. Este tamaño es ideal para preparar cafe para tres en tazas medianas a grandes sin tener q dejar restos o volver a preparar de cero otra tanda sin tirar lo que quedó. Fácil de limpiar y enfria rapido una vez desenchufando. Tengo de 6 tipos de cafeteras diferentes pero creo que esta será de mi diario❤️

Conosco questo tipo di caffettiera da molto tempo, benché non sia diffusa in Italia, ma ne cercavo una che fosse completamente priva di plastica e che non fosse troppo grande (non mi serve a niente una da 12). Avendo visto in alcuni video su internet che i percolatori elettrici sono molto più rapidi di quelli tradizionali, ho voluto provare acquistando questo prodotto, che - seppur fatto in Cina - è spedito dagli Stati Uniti. Innanzi tutto voglio sottolineare che i tempi di consegna indicati, benché lunghissimi (quasi tre settimane), sono stati rispettati e che il prodotto è arrivato integro e senza difetti; in condizioni meno ottimali la scatola, ma accettabili. L'unica cosa che migliorerei da questo punto di vista è la tracciabilità del pacco ed i dettagli sulla spedizione, se via aerea (come credo nel mio caso) o via mare. La caffettiera è arrivata confezionata bene e con tutti i suoi componenti. L'unica cosa cui fare attenzione è che essa funziona con il voltaggio domestico americano a 110 V, pertanto l'uso di un adattatore non è sufficiente per adoperarla in sicurezza sulla nostra rete domestica a 220 V; la cosa è segnalata nella pagina de prodotto, ma la scrivo comunque per maggiore sicurezza. Per poter adoperare in sicurezza la caffettiera è necessario un trasformatore da acquistare a parte (se già non lo avete), come mi ha confermato il venditore su specifica mia richiesta, in tempi anche piuttosto brevi. Quindi, dopo avere acquistato un trasformatore ed averci attaccato la caffettiera, com'è questo caffè? Ottimo! La confezione include dei filtri di carta da utilizzare nel cestello metallico del percolatore, ma personalmente non amo questa soluzione, preferendo inserire direttamente il caffè nel cestello. La macchina si attiva appena collegata alla presa di corrente (del trasformatore!) senza fare rumore né accendere alcuna spia; dopo pochi minuti l'acqua inizierà a "percolare" (gli anglofoni dicono "perking") e continuerà in automatico finché il caffè non sarà pronto, a quel punto il meccanismo si ferma da solo e si accende la spia che indica il mantenimento di calore che dura mezz'ora lasciando la caffettiera attaccata alla presa (ma non ho mai sfruttato questa funzione). Il caffè viene caldo, profumato, con la giusta intensità; non ho riscontrato squilibri nell'estrazione né sentore di bruciato, davvero buono! La quantità indicata dalle tacche (a proposito: la macchina prepara minimo 2 tazze) corrisponde a circa 350-400 ml, cioè due tazze da cappuccino per ogni tacca, per un massimo di 6 tazze; se siete di quelli che bevono intere tazze di tipo "mug", tenete conto che un mug corrisponde a circa due tazze da cappuccino e regolatevi di conseguenza. Per quel che riguarda la quantità di caffè da mettere nel cestello, io consiglio un cucchiaio da tavola di caffè macinato medio-grosso per ogni tazza (quindi, se mettete acqua fino alla prima tacca, due cucchiai da cucina), ma potete regolarvi voi a seconda di quanto lo vogliate intenso. Per la pulizia, se usate acqua minerale in bottiglia praticamente non si formerà calcare, in ogni caso consiglio solo di sciacquare con acqua tiepida l'interno e di lavare solo con acqua i singoli componenti, facendo molta attenzione a non bagnare gli elettrodi alla base dell'apparecchio. Se dovesse essersi formato dello sporco dovuto ai caffè o del calcare, un giro di percolazione con acqua, bicarbonato e un cucchiaino di aceto di vino bianco dovrebbe bastare. In definitiva, un oggetto bello, funzionale, che prepara un ottimo caffè e che, benché richieda molto tempo per arrivare in Italia dagli Stati Uniti, è arrivato integro e funzionante.

I really have trouble with reading others reviews because it's so subjective. You have to read the poor ratings and compare them with the overly hyped ones that sound like the manufacture paid someone to write it. But I can assure you I'm not paid, but am extremely happy with my choice of this wonderful coffee pot. It's the best perked coffee I've had since I was a kid and used our old fashioned percolator on the stove every morning. I loved watching the coffee in the glass top. So when choosing this particular one, I wanted one that was not so big since it's just my wife and I but big enough. This one is perfect, gives us both two cups of coffee and makes it in five minutes, so if you had company, it would still do the job. I have to say however that they include filters which to me makes no sense in a percolator, but trust me it's like stuffing paper bags into a tiny tin with some grounds in the bottom. And the filters they provide make no sense, good luck trying to make to make them fit. You can't keep the lid on, it's ridiculous. I've used it without filters like I did when I was a kid, and unless you use a finely ground coffee I get no grounds in the bottom at all. But if I do use something where some does get into the coffee, in sinks to the bottom and doesn't come out in your cup ever, unless you fill your cup with every drop in the bottom of the pot, but who does that anyway? So if you're concerned about the coffee grounds with this pot, don't worry, you'll never have any in your cup, the holes in the strainer are very small, and most important, if you use filters, you lose the oils that make coffee taste smooth, which is what filters do... filters. It look nice on the counter, and it's not huge like the large one that also is a nice coffee pot. I chose the one without the glass viewing top because they tend to leak and break, and this one does not...but you can hear it perking and the smell of fresh perked coffee is the best. I'll never use the pod type again, you'll see how much better your coffee tastes when it's fresh perked. The only down side I have is you have to be careful when cleaning it that it's not submerged or a lot of water drips down the side and could leak into the pot base. It's not that water can't run a little down the side, but if you were to submerge the pot you'd short it out and probably have problems, but that's true with all electric coffee pots. It also doesn't have an automatic shut off, which to me makes no sense, how hard would it have been to add that, and I do worry that if I forget to shut it off when I leave and there's only a tad of coffee in the bottom....well, you get the picture. But to be honest, I bought this coffee pot for two of us or just me since it makes two to six cups and both levels tastes as good. So I unplug it as soon as were done with our coffee because after it's brewed it's extra hot, and will stay that way unplugged for at least an hour. So regardless, I would buy this pot again any day. Hope this helps in your decision. Oh by the way, they recommend a level table spoon per cup, but for me it is a tad strong unless you like it that way. Five table spoons for six cups is perfect like you get in a nice restaurant, and about a table spoon and a half or less for two cups. Just my preference, you can experience on your own. Hope this helps with your decision. Presto also had a very good reputation and stands behind their products....service after the sale is the most important to me.

Es la mejor cafetera que puedes tener en tu oficina o en casa si solo tú tomas café ya que para dos personas es insuficiente, sin embargo la recomiendo mucho por chiquita y bonita además de dar un servicio maravilloso y poderse trasladar a cualquier lugar.

Today was my first time using this Presto 6-Cup Stainless Steel Percolator, and I was quite impressed with the results. I filled it up to the 6-cup level, added 3 level measurements of ground coffee, and was very satisfied with the taste and how hot it was. My Cuisinart coffee maker broke down a couple of days ago, and now was my chance to replace it with stainless steel, avoiding all plastic contamination. So far, I am very happy with this Presto stainless steel percolator and will update this review if needed. I will play around with the measurements to make it a bit stronger, which is my preference, but I must say that I was really happy with the results after using it for the first time! I had plenty of unbleached coffee filters left, so I was able to use them by pressing down in the middle, which made a hole in the filter, and the filter was then able to be folded over as well. I saw a few coffee grinds at the bottom of the percolator after I finished pouring the last cup of coffee, but found no grinds in the coffee itself. I didn't time it, but from start to finish, the coffee took under ten minutes to brew before the light came on. Pouring was easy and there was no leakage whatsoever. I would definitely highly recommend this percolator! And also, to my pleasant surprise, it was not noisy at all! Just regular brewing sounds, but nothing crazy like the old percolators from years ago. I highly recommend this Presto Percolator! Addendum: I find this percolator works best with using less than 6 cups of water, as it allows me to use the same amount of coffee I would use for 6 cups, but gives me a bolder, stronger taste. When I fill it to 6 cups, I find there are more coffee grinds in the coffee and at the bottom of the pot, when I add more coffee to make it stronger.
