Greenworks 60V 2.0AH High Current (HC) Battery | Provides Fade-Free Power for Maximum Performance | Compatible with 75+ 60V Greenworks Tools: desertcart.co.uk: DIY & Tools Review: Bought a combo pack lawn mower and string trimmer from Canadian Tire. The pack came with a 4Ah battery which works great but is heavy. This 2Ah battery is almost half the weight. Much nicer to string trim with. Plus now I can string trim while waiting to the 4Ah battery to charge. Review: Battery is similar to the Kobalt 60v 2Ah but does not fit into the Kobalt charger or Lawnmover.

I'm a bit of a battery nerd, Researching this I found Green works uses low quality 1000mah, 1Amp cells, with low cycle life200-300, for context a cheep dell laptop will typically use a mid Samsung 2500-3000,ah 1A cell 500cycles, a DeWalt drill battery uses Samsung 3000, 10amp cells. 500 cycles, and I buy the top tier LG 3500mah 5amp wit 800+ cycle life or comparable cells for most projects that's worth me spot welding a bunch of cells together. at $3 a piece they are still cheaper than this pack. This however did work like new, it has very goo temp and charge protection, and having 2 batteries lets me finish in one go instead of needing 3 charges . Just sad to think it could have 3.5X the capacity. I bought the mower 3 years ago for $100 used and its always worked.

While the Amazon price for the 2.0A 60V Greenworks battery was good, and the battery took a full charge, I was very concerned that this "new" battery had a manufacture date almost 4 years old; November 4. 2021.
