What is Matcha Tea?

Matcha, Ma (ground) cha (tea) is made by taking green tea leaves from the camellia sinensis (tea plant) and grinding them into a fine matcha powder which you can enjoy in a smoothie, a matcha latte, or traditionally with hot water. Our organic matcha powder is shade grown and single origin, from Uji, Japan's renowned matcha powder growing region. This authentic green tea is handpicked from local sustainable farms to bring you the best quality organic, ceremonial grade matcha.
