Designed and feels premium right out of the box, including the desktop remote. Easy to install and use. Controls are intuitive. Instantly made the computer desk feel cozy and the lighting made it so much easier on my eyes. I LOVE the auto on/off sensor. Basically the moment you sit down, it'll detect that you're there and turn on automatically. If you're gone for about 3-5 minutes, it shuts off on its own. I use the auto-dimming feature during the day to let it adjust on its own, then at night time I switch manually to the warm light setting. Only downside is that it looks quite bright from the side but why would you be staring at it from the side in the first place? Yea this one's expensive vs others but it's worth the price and you can keep it for a looooong time.

Thoroughly impressed with this device. I read through all of the reviews before buying, including negative, and can say my experience has been completely positive. I love the backlighting, though I wish it projected further down behind my monitor. The front lighting is great and can easily be positioned to light up my desktop, but minimal glare on the screen itself. The puck is brilliant. It's easy and intuitive to dial in brightness, color temperature and front/back lighting. I haven't experienced any of the touch issues on the controller that others have. It takes just a like tap to select a setting and it's easy to save a favorite setting via the <3 button via a long press. I've had no issue with it waking up when I sit down at my desk. Perhaps it's been more of a positioning issue for others? Mine lives just above my trackpad and I've yet to have it not turn on the light when I sit down at my workstation. It does fit nicely on my 27" Apple Studio Display. I like the clamp design because it sits up there lightly, balances well, but doesn't exert much force on the screen. The build quality appears to be excellent. The light housing and puck are made from aluminum. The puck is nicely weighted and it rotates very smoothly. Despite the cost, I feel this was a very worthwhile upgrade to my studio. Update 11/8/25: I mistakenly thought the sensor to turn the light on was in the puck. However, that wouldn’t have made sense. The sensor is in the arm underneath the light bar, facing the user. That said, it continues to work flawlessly and I’m still very pleased. My favorite feature has become the “favorite” button (go figure). I can adjust the lighting to whatever I’d like at the time, but can immediately revert to my preferred setting for editing photos.

Excellent quality! Sturdy, sleek, and really bright with great color control. Works perfectly for my non curved Gygabyte OLED monitor. A bit pricey, but you get what you pay for

This is a high-quality desk light and it looks fantastic. I especially like that the design allows you to position it so the LEDs themselves aren’t visible, which makes the lighting feel clean and professional rather than harsh. The wireless remote is a nice touch and works well. However, in 2026 I expected a bit more flexibility. It would be great to have more than one favorite preset. RGB lighting options would also be a nice addition, and currently the ambient backlight adjustment only controls brightness, not color. An app would make this product much more powerful. Being able to set schedules, change colors, and integrate it with other smart lights would take it to the next level. Overall, it’s a beautiful and well-built desk light, but adding smarter controls and more lighting customization would make it exceptional.

not quite sure how i went so many years without a monitor light bar!?!?!? most of the times, we're looking at our screen, but you might have papers, mail, etc. that you have on your desk that you need to look at also. before, i had lamps next to both sides of my desk, but i realized that my desk was extremely dark and hard to see papers and other stuff that i needed to read. i started researching options to make my desk brighter and came across this. LIFE CHANGING! like the song goes... "i can see clearly now...", lol. seriously, i can't imagine doing any desk work without this light bar. i haven't tried others, but this one has been great! specific features that i love: + the back light and ability to adjust the front light and back light with the dial is great! + the motion detector senses when you're not at your desk and turns off automatically to save electricity/money/environment! although i give it 5 stars, there are couple minor things i wish were better: - i use an external logitech hd video camera, and i had to play around a bit to figure out where to place; finally settled on placing it on top of the thick arm part of the light bar (that connects to the thin light bar); i had to tape the video cam to the light bar arm so that it would not fall off; also the video cam picks up part of the light that the light bar emits, but only appears as a fine line in my video when on calls - i have a glass desk, so the light reflects a little off the desk; it was a little distracting at first, but don't notice it now; and usually when i look down at my desk, i likely have paper(s) that i need to look at, so it blocks the light reflection; i could also look into buying a matte anti-glare screen protector and cut it to the dimension of the reflection on my glass desk and affix to my desk. but again, not anywhere close to being a deal breaker. the benefits certainly outweigh the demerits by a lot! quality is well made and fits well (definitely not flimsy; secure on my monitor), and the matte dark grey color is great (a matte black version would also look great)! overall, extremely happy! :)

The BenQ ScreenBar Holo 2 is an excellent on-screen lamp. The light is bright, clear, and adjusts beautifully to reduce eye strain during long work or reading sessions. Its sleek design and easy setup make it a classy and functional addition to any workstation. The only downside is the price — it’s a bit pricey, but in my opinion, worth it for the quality

The BenQ ScreenBar Halo 2 is an excellent monitor light that delivers exactly what it promises. It provides great illumination without shining in my eyes, which makes long sessions at the desk far more comfortable. Excellente lampe de bureau. La BenQ ScreenBar Halo 2 offre un éclairage homogène, sans reflets, et très confortable pour les yeux, notamment le soir. La télécommande est un vrai plus : pratique, réactive, et le design est soigné. J’étais tellement satisfait que j’en ai commandé une seconde pour l’offrir. Malheureusement, celle-ci est arrivée cassée dans son emballage pourtant intact. Le cadeau n’a donc pas pu être fait à temps. En revanche, le retour et le remboursement via Amazon se sont déroulés sans aucun problème.

Utilizzo la BenQ ScreenBar Halo 2 da alcune settimane e la differenza si nota subito, soprattutto se si lavora molte ore davanti al monitor. La luce è uniforme, ben distribuita e non crea riflessi sullo schermo, cosa fondamentale per chi fa grafica o video. La doppia illuminazione (frontale + posteriore) riduce molto l’affaticamento visivo, soprattutto la sera. La regolazione automatica funziona bene, ma apprezzo molto anche il controller wireless: intuitivo, preciso e con materiali di qualità. Ottima la possibilità di regolare temperatura e intensità in modo fine. Il sistema di fissaggio è solido e compatibile anche con monitor sottili o curvi. Prezzo non basso, ma qualità costruttiva e comfort visivo giustificano l’investimento. Dopo averla provata, tornare a una lampada tradizionale è difficile. Consigliata a chi cerca una soluzione professionale e curata nei dettagli.
