It was what I expected

This was recommended by my PT - much less bulky than the orthopedic boot, which went up to the knee, had a thick sole which made me lopsided, this is much lighter weight.

The price is good. It works. I only used it for a day. I wish it could have been a little more stable, but with two Velcro straps did the job but it could be improved upon.

Having experienced numerous ankle sprains in my youth, I’ve worn air casts frequently and am very familiar with them. I purchased this one following a recent injury, but unfortunately, it pressed directly on my ankle joint, causing discomfort and irritation. It never felt quite right. It’s possible the issue was due to the specific location of my injury, but I was disappointed not to find the relief I’ve come to expect from an air cast.

I love this thing! I broke my ankle in 3 places and had to have surgery. The boot they gave me was THE WORST. I wore it as long as I could but had to find something different. This is amazing! I still put the boot on if I'm leaving the house and going into unfamiliar territory with lots of other people (danger zone!) but in my safe zones, this is all I need and it's awesome! The only uncomfortable thing is if you don't line up the velcro correctly, it can scratch - but you don't even notice it as long as it's lined up. I have one more week before I can start walking again. I will be using this for stability once I can walk and I am sure it will be just fine!
