# SwitchBot AIハブで「完全自動照明」を実現するまで 〜ローカル実行で世界が変わった話〜 . . ## はじめに：結論から言うと SwitchBotのAIハブで**オートメーションをローカル実行**できるようになってから、 家の照明のストレスがほぼゼロになりました。 * 人感センサーの反応が爆速 * ネットが落ちても自動化は止まらない * 夜中のトイレで「真っ暗問題」が消滅 ただし、**導入までに盛大な勘違いをした**ので、その体験も含めて書いておきます。 --- ## スマートホーム歴は2018年から 我が家では2018年ごろから、少しずつスマートホーム機器を導入してきました。 特に便利だと感じているのは以下の3つです。 * 室内照明 * 玄関のスマートロック * 外出先からのエアコン操作 このあたりは、一度使うともう元には戻れません。 --- ## Philips Hueの便利さと、地味につらい弱点 照明は全部で22個あり、長年 **Philips Hue** を使っていました。 Hueはとても優秀で、 * 専用ハブ1台で最大99個まで制御可能 * 点灯・消灯がとにかく速い という点は今でも素晴らしいと思います。 ### しかし、人感センサーが致命的だった 問題は人感センサーです。 Hueの人感センサーは「動き」しか検知できません。 その結果どうなるかというと、 * トイレでじっとしている * 数秒後に照明が消える * 慌てて体を動かす ……という、**ふしぎなおどりをおどる羽目になります**。 トイレですらこれなので、 リビングや部屋で「完全自動消灯」は現実的ではありませんでした。 --- ## SwitchBot 人感センサーProで状況が一変 そんなとき、2025年末に **SwitchBot 人感センサーPro** が登場しました。 このセンサーのすごいところは、 * 動いていなくても * 「人がそこにいる」ことを検知できる という点です。 これにより、 **ようやく家中の照明を人の出入りだけで完全自動化**できるようになりました。 --- ## Hue × Switchbot人勧センサーProは実用にならなかった 最初は、 * 人感センサーだけSwitchBot * 照明はPhilips Hue * 制御はApple HomeKit という構成を試しました。 しかし結果は微妙。 * 電球を複数まとめて操作すると遅い * 動作が不安定 * 体感的にストレスが大きい そこで思い切って、 > 照明22個すべてをSwitchBot製に統一 することにしました。 --- ## SwitchBotアプリのオートメーションが想像以上に優秀 SwitchBotアプリのオートメーション機能は、かなり完成度が高いです。 例えば、 > リビングに設置した2台の人感センサーの > どれかが反応して > かつ夜間だったら > リビング全体を暗めに点灯する といった条件も簡単に作れます。 これまで使っていたHomebridgeサーバーの役割の大半が、 SwitchBotアプリだけで不要になりました。 結果として、 * 照明 * スマートロック * 人感センサー をすべてSwitchBotで統一しました。 --- ## AIハブ購入 → 盛大な勘違い ちょうどその頃、**AIハブ**が発売されました。 目玉機能は「オートメーションのローカル実行」。 これはもう必須だろう、と思い購入。 ### しかし、説明がほぼない 使い始めてまず思ったのが、 > 「説明、ほぼ無くない？」 ということ。 設定項目も見当たらず、 「どうやってローカル実行にするのか」が全く分かりませんでした。 --- ## Home Assistant＝ローカル実行だと思い込む SwitchBotアプリ内で唯一それっぽく見えたのが **Home Assistant** という機能。 これを試した結果、 * AIハブ上にHome Assistantサーバーが立つ * SwitchBot機器や他社製品を登録できる * オートメーションも作れる 「これがローカル実行なんだ！」と完全に思い込みました。 その結果、 * 機器30台以上を登録 * すべてのオートメーションを作り直す という沼に突入。 --- ## 動くけど、めちゃくちゃ不安定 結果としては、 * 動くことは動く * でも人感センサー反応が抜ける * 電球の反応が遅い * 全く動かない機器がある という散々な状態。 公式サイトには 「スマート電球のローカル実行対応は2026年1月予定」 とあったので、一度諦めました。 --- ## 真実：何もしなくてよかった 2026年1月、アップデート後も状況は改善せず。 そこで改めてSwitchBotアプリを見直したところ、 オートメーションに「クラウド接続」と表示されているのに気づきました。 ここでようやく理解しました。 > Home Assistantは関係ない > ローカル実行は > **SwitchBotアプリのオートメーションそのもの** だったのです。 ### 正しい仕様 * AIハブ＋対応ファームウェアに更新 * 既存オートメーションがすでに作ってあるならそれを保存し直す * 自動的にローカル実行に切り替わる 設定は一切不要でした。 --- ## ローカル実行で何が変わったか 一言で言うと、**爆速**です。 ### 体感速度 * 人感センサー反応：0.1〜0.3秒 * 照明点灯：0.2秒前後 夜中にトイレへ行っても、 「暗い時間」がほぼありません。 --- ## 使って分かった注意点 * AIハブ設置後、登録済みのハブが補助ハブになるまで**12時間以上かかる** * Bluetooth対応Switchbot機器は**近くにハブがあった方が安定** → AIハブから遠いなら**躊躇なく別途ハブ製品を置こう** * ネットが落ちてもオートメーションは動く * Home Assistantは上級者向けで別物 * スマート電球はWiFi対応。家庭用のWiFiアクセスポイントだと１台で22個のスマート電球を安定稼働できるわけない。WiFiポイントを増やそう --- ## AI機能について（おまけ） AIハブのAI機能は現在、玄関ドアホンのみで使用しています。 * 顔認識 * 画像内容の文章化（AI+：月額2,980円） 介護やペット見守り用途ならかなり有用そうですが、 我が家では警備担当として稼働中。今のところ「平和の証拠」としてほぼ出番なしです。 --- ## まとめ * SwitchBotのローカル実行は本当に快適 * 反応速度は体感レベルで別物 * Home Assistantとは別機能なので注意 **説明不足だけが惜しい**ですが、 ローカル実行の完成度自体は非常に高いと感じています。 ---

今まで他のスマートリモコンを使っていましたが、こちらに買い替えました。室温や湿度がデジタル表示で一目で確認できるのでとても便利です。それほど誤差もなく正確に表示してくれます。デザインもシンプルです。 赤外線のリモコンであれば学習させて利用できますが、対応しているメーカーが海外メーカーが多いので、もっと国内メーカーも増やして欲しいです。 あとアプリはちょっと使いにくいかなぁと思います。これからに期待します。

家にいない時に室温をみてエアコンを調整できるのが便利すぎる！家にいる時もスマホからなんでも操作できるのも助かります。

エアコンやテレビなど、家にある赤外線リモコンをまとめて管理したくて購入しました。 SwitchBotアプリから複数の家電を操作できるようになるので、リモコンを探す手間がかなり減りました。エアコン、テレビ、照明などをスマホから操作できるだけでも日常的にはかなり便利です。 本体に温度・湿度が表示されるのも良く、部屋の状態をすぐ確認できます。特にエアコンと組み合わせると、温度や湿度を見ながら調整しやすくなりました。 スマートスピーカーと連携すれば、音声操作もできるので、手が離せない時や就寝前にも便利です。オートメーションを組めば、時間や温度条件に合わせて家電を動かせるのもスマートホームらしい使い方だと思います。 設定も比較的分かりやすく、対応している家電であればリモコン登録はそれほど難しくありませんでした。 気になった点としては、赤外線方式なので設置場所によっては家電に信号が届きにくいことがあります。また、すべての家電で完全に同じ操作が再現できるわけではないので、特殊な機能を使う場合は純正リモコンも残しておいた方が安心です。 それでも、複数のリモコンを1つにまとめたい人や、これからスマートホーム化を始めたい人には使いやすい製品だと思います。

超安定で強力なWi-Fi環境でない限り厳しい。 本体がネットに接続していてもアプリ経由で操作できない日があるし、ウィジェットから操作した時に5分以上遅れて信号が送信されることがあって非常に困る。 それに加えて誤算だったのが、せっかく本体タッチで操作できるこの商品にしたのに、結局ネットに繋がっていなければ本体操作でも事前に設定したシーンが使えない。 オフラインでも本体から操作できるようにしてくれれば非常に嬉しい。

Nature Remoより乗り換えましたが、今のところ快適に使用できています。 温度湿度が出たり、ONOFFボタンに好きな動作を割り当てられたりするのも非常に便利です。 ただし自分の環境だけかもしれませんがAlexaと連携した際、電気をONOFFすると「うまくいきませんでした」と表示される（表示はされるが実際にはちゃんと電気は操作できる）のがちょっと気になりました。

毎日の温度計で活用しています。ハブとしても活用できるので、便利です。

外出先からもエアコンをONにできるのがとても便利です。

There are a great many reasons why you may want to have a SwitchBot hub, mine are simplistic, but I researched enough of what the device can and cannot do before buying it to use in my home automation. First, although I gave it 5 out of 5, it does lack something important making it really a 4/5. The device is only capable of controlling IR (infrared remote controlled) devices. It cannot use RF (radio frequency) remote signals at all. This means the majority of older ceiling fan and LED lighting fixtures are not going to be something you could connect to the hub and use your voice assistant to control, turning them on, off, changing speed or brightness, etc. On the other hand, it connects very easily to the SwitchBot indoor/outdoor temperature and humidity sensors, which is primarily why I bought the hub so as to know either by asking my voice assistant or looking at the SwitchBot App on my phone to see the current real time temperatures of where the sensors are located inside and outside of my home. By assigning different names to each sensor (based on its location) I could easily ask: “Alexa (or Hey Google as I tried it on both systems) what is the temperature of The Outside?” And it would give me a reply of the temperature. The hub also once set up with a SwitchBot account can keep your temperature and humidity readings in their cloud based storage if you wish to maintain some form of record over time as how the temperatures change. The hub itself shows you (when the display is on) the current temperature and humidity it is sensing. You can choose metric or imperial notation and I found that the range was excellent from where the hub is located in the center of the main floor to all of the sensors: upstairs, basement, deck and outside our front door. The furthest sensor is approximately 25 feet from the hub but every sensor sends their data in real time to the phone when the app comes up and I wish to see the readings. One thing you may wish to know is when attempting to upload the saved data from the sensors to your phone, they use bluetooth to send the signals to your phone, They do not appear to send them to the hub then to your phone and thus I found that if I was too from from a sensor, I could not download its data to see a graph of the values over time. Moving my phone closer (within 12-15 feet) solved this issue. Even though the hub was beside me within a few feet, it was the phone ‘talking’ directly with the sensor that was the issue. The hub is what you connect to your existing wifi network. Another example of seamless operation is that I have 3 wifi networks in my home, and after setting up the SwitchBot hub 2 on one, and linking it to my Alexa account, it was un-linked from Alexa, and reconfigured to another network then linked to a Google Home account in a minute. After assigning the sensors to the Google home rooms, it was as if it was always there, ask the same voice command “Hey Google what is the temperature of The Outside” and it answers immediately. This is an extremely versatile device and robust in its design and functionality. I would recommend it for the situation I had to anyone interested in using it for their own home automation system. Just remember that it does not support RF controlled devices, but SwitchBot has numerous devices that connect to it for use in your home and for home automation applications.

Dopo aver costruito un piccolo ecosistema SwitchBot in casa, il passo successivo era inevitabile: aggiungere il SwitchBot Hub 2. E devo dire che questo dispositivo ha superato ogni aspettativa. È davvero il “centro di controllo” ideale per chi vuole una casa smart semplice da gestire, affidabile e ricca di automazioni intelligenti. La prima cosa che colpisce è il design: moderno, pulito, elegante. Non è il classico hub da nascondere dietro un mobile. Anzi, grazie al display integrato che mostra temperatura e umidità, diventa un oggetto utile e gradevole da tenere in vista. I materiali sono solidi e ben rifiniti, come da tradizione SwitchBot. Il termometro e igrometro WiFi sono sorprendentemente precisi. Ho confrontato i valori con altri strumenti che possiedo e la lettura è sempre coerente. È comodissimo avere tutto sotto controllo anche da remoto, soprattutto quando si vuole monitorare la casa mentre si è fuori o si desidera automatizzare climatizzatori, deumidificatori o riscaldamento. Uno dei punti forti è il telecomando IR integrato. In pochi minuti ho aggiunto TV, condizionatore e altri dispositivi tradizionali, trasformandoli di fatto in apparecchi smart controllabili da app, Alexa o Google Assistant. È incredibile quanto sia comodo poter accendere il climatizzatore mentre sto rientrando a casa o spegnere la TV senza cercare il telecomando. La configurazione è stata semplicissima. Collegamento alla rete Wi-Fi 2,4 GHz immediato, riconoscimento dei dispositivi SwitchBot istantaneo e integrazione perfetta con gli assistenti vocali. Tutto funziona al primo colpo, senza intoppi o procedure complicate. Dal punto di vista dell’affidabilità, nulla da dire: stabile, reattivo e sempre connesso. Le automazioni partono puntuali, le notifiche arrivano senza ritardi e il controllo remoto è impeccabile. È evidente che SwitchBot ha lavorato molto sulla stabilità del sistema. In definitiva, il SwitchBot Hub 2 è un dispositivo che fa davvero la differenza. Non è solo un hub: è un termometro preciso, un igrometro affidabile, un telecomando universale smart e un ponte fondamentale per rendere tutta la casa più intelligente. Dopo averlo provato, non posso che consigliarlo. È diventato il centro nevralgico della mia smart home e, onestamente, non potrei più farne a meno.
