Flexible Flyer "World of Fun Swing Set

I purchased this set for my daughters (4 & 8) for Christmas 2015. I wanted to wait until we had it for 6 months to write a review. This swing set is simply wonderful! I thought I could build it myself, but ended up needed help from my brother when it came to assembling the frame (height reasons). Otherwise, it was pretty easy to build, taking under 3 hours start to finish. It has held up perfectly and my almost 9 year old still enjoys using it. My 4 year old would live on it if I let her. The see-saw is the only part of the swing that has a gradual sinking issue due to design. The glider has plenty of room for 2 children facing back to back as well as standing on the outside (sometimes they hang from the underneath). The chin-up bar is a little higher than I expected, my oldest can barely reach it on her own. The swings are great! They are sturdy/easy to clean/ and are built in a slip grip fashion. The slide has also held plenty of weight when they have had friends over and all want to slide together. Very pleased with the overall function and design of the entire swing set and how well it has held up thus far. Great purchase!!

I give this swingset a 5 because once together, it is wonderful for our grands. They love it. It was missing a few screws and the hooks for a swing. I was able to pick these up at a local hardware store, because I did not want to wait. Putting it together went easier with two people. Overall, a good sturdy product that I could not find locally for such a wonderful price. I did purchase the tie downs in addition.

Good quality. Well worth the price. The swing set is sturdy and seems like it will hold up well over time. I gave it 4 stars for 2 reasons. First, the instructions are unnecessarily difficult. They really should have someone rewrite them. It really is very easy to assemble, and my husband and I put it together in one evening. However, we had some major set-backs because the instructions left out important details in a couple of critical areas. One is when you are putting together the main beam that runs across the top, there are round holes and slotted holes in it. The slotted holes face downward. That wasn't noted in the instructions until you are actually attaching the swings, so you'd have to take the bolts out and rotate the beam if you didn't happen to do it correctly earlier on. Another annoying thing about the instructions is that the parts aren't labeled and the little bags of screws are labeled something different than what is in the instructions. The second reason I gave it 2 stars is the swings are made out of hard plastic instead of a rubbery plastic so my kids slide right off of them. My daughter is almost 3 and is too short to get up on the swing herself. I think it would work ok for older kids but in the meantime I think I'll just order some rubbery seats to replace them. Overall I think this swing set is a great buy and I would purchase it again but I'm hoping the company makes some small changes that would really make a huge difference.

Very nice swing set. Looks just like the picture and the kids love it! Cons are that the instructions are not very detailed so you really need to pay attention because the bars were not labeled and they do go on certain sides so pay close attention or your slide will not be on the right side lol. Other than the instructions not being that great it took me about 3 1/2 hours to put it together with help, but once you get it going it all comes together. Also you do need tools as it only comes with the allen wrench. You will need two other wrenches I believe it is a 7/16 and a 1/2 and also a Philips head and flat head screw driver as well as a hammer. It came quickly in a rather large box as the slide is 6ft long. Overall great purchase my kids ages 7 and 5 love it!

The swing set arrived and was extremely dirty inside the box. It had red dirt and what looked like child size footprints all over the slide and base of swings. There were a few screws missing so I had to make a stop to the local hardware store in the middle of putting it together and one of the see saw seats arrived with a crack in the plastic welding to hold the handle of the seat together so I will have to try and melt it back together or tape it. It seems to be a lot of fun though so even though it arrived dirty and slightly damaged we will enjoy it just the same I'm sure.

Garbage! Instructions suck. Bolts are different sizes very close in size with no variable marks to distinguish them. My husband is an engineer and very intelligent. My daughter is a mechanic and loves putting things together and fixing things. This swingset is still unassembled in her back yard. They have worked with it several times and just can't seem to put it together. Lots of money for nothing!

Got a great price and free shipping on this one from Wayfair. Quick delivery! I read a few reviews about missing/wrong pieces and was a little worried at first. Maybe those issues were anomalies or have been corrected. All pieces were sorted in bags per the seat/glider they went with and was nice. I set up the A-frame first instead of second (per instructions) since I am taller and attaching the swing bolts is easy for me to do while standing. Other than that, this went from the box to full-on playtime in less than 4 hours setting this up by myself at a leisurely pace. There was a minor problem with the rocket glider and the notches not being large enough for the chain and bolt to work on the first attempt. After some minor adjusting with a knife I got it to work. Even with that, the assembly was relatively painless with a small amount of colorful metaphors being spoken from the backyard. It may have been the motivation of a 4 (soon to be 5) year old asking when the swing set will be ready, but I have to say after many assembly projects this one was one of the least painful. I recommend this swing set. Nice looking, relatively easy assembly and since the kid test every seat in the first 5 minutes, I know that each one is a lot of fun. Appears to have the durability to last for years to come!

This was one of the best deals on a swing set! About four years ago we purchased a wooden playground for nearly four times the cost of this one, which has not held up. It took nearly 14 hours to assembly....but this swing set took three hours (give or take) with three men. It could be done with two people. We did not have the problem that other reviewers had with the bags of parts being busted or missing. Ours was packaged perfectly, delivered in a undamaged box, and was not missing any parts. The only problem they ran into was the metal glider, the bolt that fits around the post at the top did not line up with bolt holes. They had to reshape it some (very simple fix). I will update my review later about how it continues to hold up.
