Classic Patches

I am not sure what everyone’s experience was/is with these G7 over patches. Mine has been great! The ordering and delivery was easy, product arrived on time thankfully. I put the patch in the same day I started a new meter. Everyone knows that the G7 lasts 10 days and then you start another one. Well other patches come off and even the patch that G7 provides is terrible. The application presses is a little hard but that is because of the placement of the meter, one handed application is hard but practice will get batter. I am an indoor office worker so not much activity other than sitting, standing up moving papers around and things like that. Shower everyday sometimes twice a day. Outside house work and sweaty at times but these patches stayed on. Never lost signal, I hit my arm a couple of times but the patch stayed the WHOLE ENTIRE TIME. There was some fraying towards the end of the 10 days but never had to worry about it coming off and loved it. Removal I would suggest using some alcohol or just taking it off. There was some adhesive left one the skin after I removed the patch and meter but nothing a good shower of even alcohol swab couldn’t remove. Next I’m going to put the meter on my back and see how that works but on the arm was fabulous!!

I started using these several years ago when they were thicker and very durable, and would stay adhered to the skin for around the 10 day G7 cycle! I could shower and sleep with them with absolutely no problems, so I was completely satisfied with the patch and ordered them on a regular basis. But over time I noticed they just didn’t stay on as long as they used to, due to the fact that they had reduce the quality of the product. The material was noticeably thinner and would only stay on for approximately 3-4 days, not the 10 I was used to before! I guess the upside is that they aren’t very expensive, and as a long time user I plan to look for a more dependable longer lasting product when these have all been used. Also if you plan to purchase this item, I would recommend you buy just 1 pack to see if they are right for you, unlike me buying a couple packs at a time and then realizing I'm stuck with an inferior product!

My G7 would sometimes stop working well before the 10 days of usage. I used all the applicators as required, but the device would still fail from time to time. I tried these patches to protect in the shower, they have worked quite well! Since I started using these 2 months ago, I haven't hade any device failures. The patch itself is waterproof, comes in a variety of colors, and remains sticky the entire 10 days. Overall it works well. The application of the patch is tricky, mainly due to where the Dexcom is applied. There are 4 pieces the remove to expose the adhesive side. Sometimes I need a second person to apply this successfully. Also, when it is time to remove the patch to change the dexcom, it can be somewhat painful to remove because it has such good adhesion. When it is on, I barely know that it is there. Overall, I would recommend.

I purchased this brand of patches for my Dexcom G7 sensor after having used another brand which costs more than double for about 7 months. What attracted me of this brand: the fabric like material instead of paper type stickers that come with the Dexcom sensor which gives my skin a bad reaction, and the array of colors which my other expensive brand did not offer for a while. After using two patches I have noticed that the adhesive feature is not good: while being careful during showers not to keep the patch in direct line of the water flow and carefully drying it afterwards, the patch looses it adhesive quality after about 5 days then it starts peeling on one end first, then all around. I resorted to add another patch on top of it, a bit off center to cover the part that came un-glued and so it lasted till the expiration of my sensor, at which time, trying to remove the patches was very painful as not only the the remaining glue but also a thin layer of my skin was peeled off. Not the experience I was looking for. And that's why I am returning to buy more of the SkinGrips patches in spite of their expensive price because they have strong glue all the while being very easy to remove without any pain.

I almost sent these back. The very first one I used didn't stick so I decided tongice it another try. I am on my 3rd patch and so far so good. The colors are bright and beautiful. The adhesive is good and doesn’t come off until I take it off. I love that it doesn't hurt to peel off. So far I would purchase again.

I had issues with my G7 getting snagged on random things before these patches - not anymore. Between the location change (back of arm to inner thigh - 1 hand’s length down from my waist) and these patches, life has been sweet. Incredibly durable, often lasts well to the 10 day mark and even into the 24hr grace period. Highly sticky - almost too sticky. Can create challenges with skin if it’s sensitive - I have a circle on my right thigh from pulling too hard when removing. Going away with exfoliation and vitamin e. My only dislikes are the skin irritation on removal and the occasional difficulty with removing the covering to install. But, otherwise, I won’t use another patch as long as I use a Dexcom G7.

I was really disappointed with the G7 Adhesive Patches Waterproof 20-Pack. Despite being marketed as durable and waterproof, these patches barely held up to even light use. The adhesive is weak — several patches began peeling off within hours of application, even on clean, dry surfaces. On items that actually see movement or stress (like outdoor gear or bags), they failed to stick at all. The waterproof claim also didn’t hold up. After just a little exposure to water, the edges started lifting and the patch curled, making them practically useless for fixing leaks or protecting gear in wet conditions. The idea is good — a simple, reusable adhesive patch — but in reality they just don’t work well enough to trust. For the price, I expected something much more reliable.

These are by far the best patches I have tried so far What makes them one of the best is that they're so easy to apply They do sometimes come off, the only way I have been able to keep them on for 10 days is to leave it 48 hours after applying before showering. 9/10

Love using these for my son when he puts on his Dexcom. He likes choosing the different colors and they stay on the full 10 days

Ich bin sehr zufrieden, hält perfekt auch nach dem Schwimmen. Wichtig ist, die Haut gut zu entfetten. Dass es schwer zu entfernen ist, wie in manchen Reviews beschrieben wird ist richtig. Aber ich sehe darin kein Problem. Wenn man es langsam mit Geduld vorsichtig löst geht es problemlos ohne Rückstände ab. Ich finde besonders gut, dass der Sensor komplett mit abgedeckt ist, so reisst man ihn nicht ab, wenn man zB mal am Türstock anstreift. Ich persönlich habe den Sensor an der Vorderseite des Oberarms, so liege ich als Seitenschläfer nicht darauf und Abstreifen am Türstock kann auch nicht passieren
